Hello Everyone! I've just come back from a few weeks in Egypt. It was energizing, amazing, and invigorating as always. I had the good fortune of fasting for the last four days of Ramadan (out of respect, solidarity & curiosity). I showed up, realized it was Ramadan (I'd never been to Egypt during Ramadan before) and said "hey, I need to do that." It was an experience that taught me a lot. I'm working on a blog entry about the experience, but in the meantime, here are some new photos from Egypt. I hope enjpiy them.

Wedding Celebration, Egyptian Village near Kom Ombo from Spirit Quest on Vimeo.
On our last trip we docked near a small village in upper Egypt and went into the town (this is one of the advantages to sailing on a private dahabeya) where we ran across a wedding celebration. The local woman were dancing in the streets and the just spontaneously invited us to join them. It was a blast!
