The Russian Gypsy Music & Dance Performance is a fundraiser that supports the launch of the Amma Center of Southern California. “Amma” Sri Mata Amritanandamayi is an international humanitarian whose charitable acts provide aid to the disadvantaged worldwide. This evening of heartfelt music features stellar Russian vocalist Sumithra Yulia Tarasova and San Francisco Symphony Orchestra violinist Raushan Akhmedyarova with the passionate guitarist Andrey Chuguev and other special guest musicians. Katusha Dance Group kicks up their heels to the music that’s guaranteed to put wings on your feet. Join in the fun! What better way to raise funds for the Amma Center than to share the culture of the romantic Russian gypsies? Immerse yourself in the superb music and dance. Enjoy the old world Russian cuisine, warm salads and delicious sweets. It’s an intimate event for all that uplifts and inspires Russian style! This performance is presented by the San Diego and Los Angeles Satsangs who are volunteers inspired by the humanitarian efforts of Sri Mata Amritanandamayi (Amma).
