We have a very special event coming up next Saturday, March 3rd at the NeXus at United Earth Networks. Experience two of the most celebrated & magnetic New Age Musicians, Paradiso & Rasamayi, on their tour across the country, coming together with three well known local maestros.

We are looking forward to sharing it with you amidst our beautiful Buddhas in a soulful evening with these stellar musicians & shamans of sound.

Experience "King" the world’s largest quartz crystal didgeridoo; the spectacular gem & mineral infused Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls & more!

Paradiso (didgeridoo) & Rasamayi (chanting, singing, bowls) are renowned sound healers whose bestselling, collaborative album "3rd Eye Rising" has been in the top 5 of International New Age Radio Charts, #16 in the world for international airplay for 2011 in the ambient/electronic/world charts & one of five nominees for best relaxation/meditation CD for 2011. Paradiso has played at Carnegie Hall & has 4 other award winning CD's out.

They are joined by acclaimed musicians: Carol Alban on flute, Kai Eckhardt on bass & Frank Martin on keyboards.

Carol Alban –Flutist

(flute, vocals, piano, guitar) has played at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, CBGBs, Blue Note (New York), Yoshi's, & the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. She was principal flutist w/ the Bay Area Chamber Symphony. Recent performances: Winter Holiday Concert at the Historic Orinda Theatre, Fairmont Hotel Upwardly Global Event with Los Boleros, Pre-Halloween Concert with Frank Martin, Marc Levine & Mark Shaw, Carol Alban & Friends-Kai Eckhardt, Frank Martin, Paradiso & Rasamayi at the Hacienda in Moraga, Orinda Jazz Festival & Moraga Jazz Festival.

Kai Eckhardt—Bass Guitarist

Originally from Germany, Kai studied music at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Graduating with honors in 1987, he began touring as a bassist, clinician and composer. In 2000, Kai co-founded Garaj Mahal, a four piece band, playing a fusion of jazz, Indian music, rock, & especially funk. In 2007, Mahal's "Blueberry Cave" won The 6th Annual Independent Music Awards for Best Jam Album.

Frank Martin—Keyboardist

Music Instructor at The Jazz School in Berkeley, California & Independent Producer / Arranger for many years--as a producer for Artists such as Al Jarreau, Lisa Fisher, Angela Bofill, Mimi Fox, Daria, Mary Jenson, Ellen Honert, Karen Blixt, Nicolas Bearde, Deuce, Rhiannon, Denine Monet & others. As an arranger-- he has worked with Sting, Narada Michael Walden, Turtle Island String Quartet, Dianna Ross, Angela Bofill, Patti Austin & many more.
