The Heart of Africa Campaign is designed to involve the United Nations in its own programs on its own Day - the United Nations Global Compact, the Millennium Development Goals, The Earth Charter, the Consumer Protection Act (1985) and the new ISO 26000 Standards on Corporate Social Responsibility.

One of the problems with the UN is that it DOES not integrate promotion of its own programs.

Calling the Drums of Africa out on this day is a signal to end this non sustainable practice

A World Wide Drumming event at City Halls - and other venues - identifying the three significant programs of the UN - the UNGC, the MDG's and the Earth Charter - this year we add the ISO 26000 Standard
