The event sounds awesome.
I remember Dennis Banks from the time of the Sacred Run. If my memory serves me well, the runners came through Lismore & Byron Bay in the rainbow region of Australia in the mid-nineties.
There was meeting & welcome from the Bundjalung elders in Lismore; and a huge community gathering to welcome the runners in Byron Bay.
I will never forget Dennis playing his shaman's drum over the fire as the runners came into Byron. They were circumnavigating the globe, carrying their message of peace & goodwill and respect for the earth to all. Inspiring.
All power to your event and the indigenous peoples of the earth!
