Event Description

SKATELAND/Mesa has generously STEPped FORward to host a SPECIAL FUNdraising Event for "WALK a MILE in MY SHOES...on the Path to PEACE!!!" on Sunday, 15 February 2009 from 5pm-7pm.

MISSION: To emPOWER WAMMS to continue the shipments of 'gently-worn' SHOES around the World to Children/Folks who have NO SHOES.

PROGRESS: To date (since October, 08), WAMMS has shipped 17SHOEboxes (14x14x14) to IRAQ & AFGANISTAN & has delivered 132pairs of SHOES to the HUMAN SERVICES Campus in downtown Phoenix.

SPECIAL SKATELAND Admission: $2.00per person
SKATE RENTAL: Extra

All proceeds from Admission Receipts will be donated to WAMMS to encourage the continuing of this ambitious Global Outreach effort.
