The Woodstock Council for World Peace and the World Peace Prayer Society will be joining The World March for Peace and Nonviolence on the march’s first day in North America, Monday, November 30, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. in Brooklyn, NY at Borough Hall, where we’ll gather together to walk over the Brooklyn Bridge to City Hall, where the march will be met by the New York City Council who will present a proclamation for peace, and a press conference will be held. Then the march moves on to Riverside Church, where there will be a celebration and Beyond Violence, a multimedia presentation of inspirational talk and performances.
This is a wonderful opportunity to make our voices heard, so please join us on this very special day.
