Whodat!!! Saints did that!
I'm grateful for the great people, some of which I have only met through the internet, with such great energy and gifts to give. A buddy from MS sent a King Cake from New Orleans, in celebration of the triumph of the Saints. I'm enjoying it here with my aunt.

Blessings to all,
Mike

WORD FOR THE DAY
Tuesday, Feb. 9

Gratefulness is the gallantry of a
heart ready to rise to the opportunity
a given moment offers.

David Steindl-Rast
Gratefulness, the Heart of Prayer
Interestingly, I was forced to change "opportunity" to "love" in an email or they threatened me with sending it to "spam". "Love" works well as a sub,, don't you think? By the way, Brother David's book above is very inspirational! ron

I am grateful for being blessed with another day and the vision to see things for what they are.

I am grateful for being reunited with my family, with the great assistance of the Ho'ponopono prayer. I described it as like being the "prodigal son". Here is a response:
Taking Responsibility For Everything
Sounds like she is the Prodigal Aunt. SHE abandoned uyoui emotionally, nopt the opther way around, but I'm so happy for you that all is going so well. L.

thank you, L., I have not thought of it like that, I am just glad she has forgiven me for what she "thought" I did. We are all one anyway, so the Ho'Oponopono prayer for forgiveness does not make a difference. A few months ago, I left this prayer on her message machine: "I am sorry, please forgive me....thank you, I love you!" I keep praying it as needed - often and it works!
in gratitude, ron

Expressing sincere gratitude is one of the elements of Unconditional Love. I am grateful for the opportunity just to write on this page. Grateful as always for the first breath.

The ability to sincerely express gratitude
is one of the surest signs of having achieved
that balance of self confidence, empathy and
humility which characterizes some of the noblest
and greatest minds of our day.

(thanks to my friend's Javier Facebook site- I dont know who wrote this -anybody know?)

WORD FOR THE DAY(gratefulness.org)
Sunday, Jan. 24

If the past is unredeemable,
and the future unpredictable,
what more practical course is
open than to safeguard the present
by constant rememberance of the divine?
