I am thankful for memory foam and hot brown rice cereal with coconut butter cardamon cinnamon and raisins. I am also thankful for kind people and of course as always the local cat and dog even if the cat did smack the dog in the face today. Jealousy and stress even happen in the animal world. I am thankful the dog is into non violence and turned the other check. His name is Magoo but he is really smarter than most humans. He has a good temper and did not even let the cat get to him at all. I am thankful for his wisdom when it comes to dealing with a difficult sibling with claws.

I would like to thank the weather gods in advance for throwing a little sunshine out at the coast today. I am would be even more thankful for the fog if it would burn off. I am thankful for my begonias for their bright sunshiny color. I am thankful for humans some of the time and pets 99% of the time. Thankful for low flow toilets naw - the person who invented them should really be taken out and shot. I am thankful for my heater.

I am thankful for this Mercury retro tsunami for washing a tiny jewel from a past life up on my beach.

I am thankful for all the wildflowers that grow in my natural "yard".
I am horrified by the weedkiller ad that shows a beautiful
wild flower as a weed, and then shows it being killed.
Thank you Great Spirit, after a wet winter and spring, wild flowers are bursting forth out here.

I noticed how habitually when I awaken my mind monkey like goes from tree to tree, fruit to fruit, with every problem, fear, and mere annoyance. Then I remember (gratefully) to start acknowledging my gratitude. And I always start first by looking out of the window and experiencing the beauty around me. Next to the smaller gestures of love and grace of friends, and then, who knows. Everything is for my evolving into a centered loving person.

I struggle with forgiveness and don't quite get it at times. I must say I am grateful for Carolyn Myss because without her I might not know to thank all of those people who love us inadequately. I guess then in the spirit of Carolyn Myss I must thank all the people who forgot my birthday yesterday. Thank you forgetful self absorbed humans! They can all thank me when their birthdays roll around too : - )

I still have to say Ron I am sorry your mom was not a little bit more evolved about the whole war and war is cold and cruel. I will be oh so Thankful when the USA gets out of Iraq and Afghanistan too. I will be thankful when Obama realizes we did not vote for him to step up the war in Afghanistan. Maybe he will have a light bulb moment about that one and then he can come post here. I am thankful for my landlord's cat that is saying good morning by destroying my screen door.. I really do love the cat..

I guess what Carolyn Myss says is true we need to thank those who love us inadequately because they get us closer to the divine Marinspin
Hi Marinspin, I think my Mom never forgave me for not going to Viet Nam instead of her favorite son Barry who was killed there. I was in Alaska in the Medical Corps., because only one brother was allowed in Viet Nam at one time.
I know it is my job to forgive all involved and be grateful to my Mom for Divine Inheritance "that is worth much more than gold". Carolyn Myss is right - thanks for sharing that quote. lotsalove&peace, Ron
