I'm grateful to realize that gratitude is the attitude. On the eve of this Mother's Day 2009 I am thankful for all the wonderful ladies in my family including: Pinkey (RIP), Hester (RIP), Helen, Gloria, Lorraine, and Jessica. I also salute the multitude of other women carrying the torch of knowledge and courage along this spiritual journey, many are mothers or surrogates if not having experienced birth.

SOUL AND THE OLD WOMAN


What is the soul? Consciousness. The more awareness, the
deeper the soul, and when

such essence overflows, you feel a sacredness around. It's
so simple to tell one who

puts on a robe and pretends to be a dervish from the real
thing. We know the taste

of pure water. Words can sound like a poem but not have
any juice, no flavor to

relish. How long do you look at pictures on a bathhouse
wall? Soul is what draws

you away from those pictures to talk with the old woman

it is as beautiful as the day i first saw the beach!!!!!My 4 year old son taught me gratitude for nature when he chose the beach over Ice cream..I am so thankful for nature's bounty of pleasures!!

I am grateful to be blessed with a partner who shows me courage, resolve and unconditional love. Who shows me how to move beyond wounding and trauma into the clear light of Being.
