Medicine Wheel: Serve Each Other Through Love

Netherlands-based Anita Kroon birthed this inspiring Medicine Wheel in 2002, based on a dream. It is not copyrighted, as she wants it circulated as widely as possible.

The image hung for a season in a church in Edam, Netherlands, where Anita is a volunteer. She writes, "This is the biggest hall church in Europe. [The Medicine Wheel] stood behind the candle rack, so you can imagine it's 'highly loaded'. Especially with humor!"

Thank-you Amara for sharing this beautiful picture.

I'm wondering... did the artist actually name it "The Medicine Wheel"?

Very cool. I got a book from the library yesterday that shows how to make a beaded medicine wheel using a hoop earring for the base. So simple. Thank you for the inspiration.
Love, Erin

I'm thinking there must be more versions of the medicine wheel concept out there. I know we have the American and Canadian Indian Medicine Wheel that has been with us for a long time. There are actual sites around the state of Montana dnprovince of Alberta where the medicine is embedded into the ground, and examples of the medicine wheel as used by the medicine men/woman of the day. I think this is the kind of informatio that will save the planet...by communicating with each other. Thank you for sharing your information...the medicine wheel can also be a very personal healing wheel, healing the physical, emotional, mental and the spiritual.
