Vortex Immersion on StumbleUpon
It is a pleasure to introduce myself and Vortex Immersion Media, Inc.. We are developing immersive and interactive display technologies and media content and felt that you may have some interest in as well as some other things that we are working on.
VIM is an entertainment technology design boutique seeking to expand its product development efforts in next-generation immersive and interactive experiences. Our small company has big connections in the entertainment industry. Our experienced management team and advisory board see the future of out-of-home entertainment technology and are positioning VIM to capitalize on the coming convergence in interactive entertainment. VIM’s technology will essentially take highly popular video games, online social networking and virtual worlds “out of the box” and project them onto domes, interactive surfaces and architectural spaces, allowing users to interact naturally with simple gestures - no glasses, gloves or controllers required. The resulting IP will be monetized through VORTEX branded entertainment venues and third-party licensing. Produce development will be headed by VIM CTO Ed Lantz, a world renown engineer and media pioneer.
VIM is currently serving the special events and destination entertainment markets with design services that incorporate immersive dome venues (fixed and inflatable), gesture and multi-touch interactive display systems, autostereoscopic and holographic display systems, 3D motion holograms, and interactive digital theming. These technologies are the building blocks for VIM’s future product developments, enabling venues such as the VORTEX VR Nightclub and the VRS Theater. VIM’s services include custom immersive and interactive content production, live streaming video, design and project management, and architectural consulting. Our team has delivered projects for Fortune 500 clients around the world including Mercedes, Adidas, Microsoft, Audi, Nokia and many others.
I would welcome the opportunity to share ideas and explore how we can use our technologies and media in meaningful and positive ways.

Great to have you here... I share your vision and have been at it for a while myself... my first multi-media dome show was put together in 1982...
I hope to learn more about your work and ideas...
Best,
-Rick
