There are two primary motivating forces in the universe: love and fear. All of our emotional responses are driven by these two forces. Fear brings out our baser emotions, while love engenders all that is noble and good in humanity. Make a point today to look at the motivations behind your actions and if they are not rooted in love: change them.

That is, to do a brief check in each night with myself. Have I held more fear or more love today? And where there is/was fear to engage practices to transform it to unconditional love.
