Introduction/positive future

I have just signed up, so this is my general introduction to the A.o.a.N.D. community..

Architects of a New Dawn fills a great need at a crucial turning point in the human journey. Its arrival is timely as voices of positivity & hope search for rallying points, outlets and connections.
My personal focus is on the aspirational aspects of life - Culture, science, spirituality etc…
To me, these elements are what defines our humanity, unfortunately many of our human family are trapped in a lower `survival’ mindset - whether it be the hand to mouth struggles of the majority or the empty materialism of the affluent, we can do better….
We are emerging from trying times.
Spirituality, arguably the key to a meaningful life is openly derided, our culture is being devalued & marginalized and science has been undermined in many ways … These elements have moved from the center of many people’s lives, only to be replaced with fear & `learned defeat’
If that is the darkness, we are the dawn….
This is an extremely hopeful time… Global communications & the Internet have hastened the emergence of a truly global culture that has been evolving since the 1960s, building communities of the like-minded without geographical boundaries…
Meanwhile science is overlapping with metaphysics and other disciplines once considered ancient or exotic…
BUT…
I believe the key battlefront of our time is not in some poverty stricken, distant land, but within ourselves, between our own higher & lower natures - which voices we choose to act upon will determine our future. After all, history shows us that empires rise & fall on hearts and minds as much as the size of Armies.
Every great human endeavor has been built on a foundation of the efforts of countless generations… We owe it to the future to pass the best of our ideas and achievements on...
And remember the enlightened not only have reality on their side but also excel at entertaining!
A.o.a.N.D. can become a great conduit to convey ideas to a global community & be a significant part of the solution we are all collectively working on and contributing to…
Its existence alone is encouraging… Thank you for creating it...

Namaste Dude. Great to see you here.I have found video posting here very easy. 116 million people Stand Up fpr the MDGs in October. We elected Hope & Change November. I'll be at the Oakland Arena on January 20th watching 2 million people celebrate on large screens. It's a New Dawn.

I too am new to this network and am excited about this idea. It's a great thing to realize that in fact, there are a great many people from all walks of life who are awakening.

Regarding you post Stefan, if you'd like to dig in more deeply with regard to science, culture and spirituality you might want to read "The Death of Religion and the Rebirth of Spirit" by Joseph Chilton Pearce. I found it a very inspiring yet challenging read!

Thank you and God Bless You. My only response to this posting is "Welcome" and yes this is great. I just hope all who read are in the best of hands and god willing protected. I feel there are alot of people who aren't able to balance all of this information that we post. I'm here to hold the hands of leaders who can help them balance the variety. My vision is holding hands...I wish. I wish there was a huge circle outside going on for days and days around each continent.... where everyone understood each other and understood the reason where here on earth. Reading is so important to comprehend. This is my point. Peace Out
