Love Is The Answer - 1993

I created a proposal to do a documentary and I titled it Love Is The Answer. The purpose of this documentary was to do a comparison and contrast of families who reside in Uganda, Africa; Azerbaijan, Turkey and the U.S.

I wasn't able to get funding but received a 'possible authorization' letter from Barbara Streisand's agent at that time Martin something maybe Erlichman, as I requested to use her song "People Who Need People" and "Evergreen". And at that time Mel Gibson was very popular and I sent him a letter to do the narration, never heard from him.

Anyways, I STILL am hoping to do this documentary (heck it's been 16 years) and show that how some families have a greater bond and respect for one another with just a few means (no material distractions) and compare them to other families from the countries I mentioned.

It was interesting to see that the basis of this site is LOVE IS THE ANSWER...very interested to learn how each of us will intertwine in this world.

A random discussion here...Carlos Santana happens to be the neighbor of a very good friend of mine on Tara Hill in Tiburon.
