Architects of a New Dawn

We’d like to show the side of the world you don’t normally see on television.

Penance

And when in the quiet of the new morn

When you can be silent and in all honesty listen to me

I will speak to your heart

in the sweet tones of love that you so need know

I will speak to your soul and reach out my hand

For you to come to me

For you have finally come to place where you can feel

The compassion that God has Offered for us all to be released

From the pain and limitation of this human condition

with which we have to deal

for we are so frail and weak with the pain and the insanity we see

that if we were given an exit strategy

we would run to it to be free

and so you are given these moments where you can see

these moments that you hold so close when you’re with me

and you are reminded so kindly of the promises you made

when you vowed to serve  those in need

and when you reach for spirit you can be a little of who you are

and you realize how many blessings you’ve been given for free

and have you finished what you came here for

and what you once knew was so easy to claim to do in my name?

so take a moment and lay down your burdons at my door

stay a little while and find the strength you need

to go back and do what you came here for

The words you write that I whisper in love

are carried by the angels to your Soul

and the silent tears you could never could cry

you can offer to me as a payment for the penance you chose to bear,

to let you live in the love that I am and I give to you to be,

as you find some comfort in the compassion offered

that will comfort you in your time of need,

and you have Christ’s Love in your heart which you hold as your key

God’s sweet Offering he gave to light your way to eternity
