It's all aboard the rainbow bridge to Woodstock & beyond...
As part of the crew traveling with the Rainbow Dreaming exhibition (http://www.rainbowdreaming.org), Hans Lovejoy ( Byron Shire Echo journalist, musician); Juan Sanchez (musician, techie); Harsha Prabhu (Co-curator) are leaving for New York on 30 Sept.
We will be followed by Saya Minami (designer), Rina Terasaki (volunteer) and Sayaka Nakao (photographer) on 3 Oct. Emi Iizuka (ethical marketeer) will be joining us mid-Oct.
We will be joining Benny Zable, Nimbin's ambassador to Woodstock. Benny is already in New York setting up for Ecofest.
We have managed to secure hosts in New York & Woodstock, but are still looking for hosts for a week in San Francisco, between 21 Oct and 27 Oct.
Rainbow Dreaming US Tour dates:
Ecofest, Central Park, New York, 4 Oct (www.ecofest.com)
Harvest Fest & Freedom Rally, Camp Minglewood, NY, 9-11 Oct (www.damnsam.com)
Woodstock Museum, Saugerties, NY, 16 Oct (www.woodstockmuseum.org)
Westfest, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, 25 Oct (www.2b1records.com/woodstock40sf)
We are all paying our way, with hosting by venues and friends.
We have managed to raise the funds to pay for the exhibit, but are still short of approx $2000 to pay for freight and display hire costs at Westfest.
