Having met Patricia Montandon ballooning in France in 1982 I joined Pat for the inaugural International Children's Peace Prize in San Fransisco in 1983 which was won by 12 year old Vietnamese Refugee - Nguyenvu Nguyen.
The ACF ran the International Children's Peace Prize in all Australian & New Zealand primary schools & McDonald's Restaurants in 1984 & 85, and Australia in 86 & 88.
We sent delegates on Children As The Peacemakers Trip to China, Eastern Bloc, Moscow, Jordan & Iraq.
Further trips to Children's Assembly for kids 120 Countries in Bulgaria. Australian Aboriginal kids included.
Youth Live 85 Dance for 23,000 teenagers with 6 rock bands, delegates to Week of Peace in Tokyo in 1989 including meeting up with Graham Nash & Julie Belefonte.
Release of 1985 Australian International Children's Peace Winner - 8 year old Brenday Woithe's song "Music Change The World" in Australia & video clip with 30 artists from around the world - and also closed the Royal Gala on Yorkshire TV with presentation to HM The Queen, plus release of record in the UK.
