Hello All - As you may know I am helping to organize Viviendo Verde. The first annual Latino Living Green Summit. Things are coming together nicely for this event and we hope to make a strong statement. I am reaching out to friends to help us build on the foundation we have created and would be very thankful if you could help this first time project. Below are places you may be able to help. We are open to any creative Green Ideas or contacts you may have · Out reach – Tell the world via face book, twitter, or other social networks you may be in- contact related non profits or organizations that may want to get involved
· Research – we are seeking any Latino owned green business that may like to give a demonstration of their products. Home and garden, green building, perma culture, organic cooking demos and nutrition demos, green crafters, health related organizations, etc – non Latino businesses will be provided a translator [this event is in Spanish]. There will be No Sales at this event. Companies can promote themselves with literature and hand outs [no charge to be a vendors]
· Art – if you know any eco artist that would like to show for free, send them my way –
· Donation – we will be providing the public with organic food – donations form food stores and produce companies welcome
· Volunteer- if you or anyone you know may like to volunteer or do outreach for volunteers for day of – contact Douglas
· Green Jobs – educational booths on applying for green jobs or companies seeking employees

The Light is part of all of us. We are all One here in that Light. Surrounding oneself with enlightened thoughts and sounds, sending the energy of harmony throughout the world in a great Light Link, raises the consciousness of All. The problems of the world can truly be solved by placing oneself in the center of harmony and seeking resolution of those problems within ourselves. Anger depletes. Gratitude increases. THE POWER OF ENCOURAGEMENT...

Everybody needs encouragement. None of us achieves anything without help.The great achievers in history became all they were because of the people in their lives.
We've seen The Chronicles of Narnia and The Lord of the Rings. But did you know that the authors,C.S Lewis and J.R.R Tolkien,were professors at Oxford University and maintained a close friendship? Every week they'd meet to eat,talk about their fiction-writing endeavors and read passages of their yet unpublished works. It was Tolkien who encouraged Lewis, an avowed atheist, to explore Christianity,ultimately leading to his conversion. And it was Lewis who encouraged Tolkien to continue writing fiction and to seek publication. Were not for their friendship and mutual encouragement, the world wouldn't have received the finest writing in apologetics of the twentieth century, nor one of the finest fantasy works ever writen.
Everyone - young and old, successful and less - than - successful, famous and unknown - who receives encouragement is changed by it. Mark Twain said,
"One compliment can keep me going for a whole month". A word of encouragement from a teacher can change a child's life. A word of encouragement from a spouse can strengthen or even save a marriage. A word of encouragement from a leader can inspire a person to reach his or her potential. Zig Ziglar says "You never know when a moment and a few sincere words can have an inpact on a life." The Bible says, proverbs.16:24 "Pleasant words are like a honeycomb,sweetness to the soul and health to the bones."
