Comment by Alixandra Sun on August 17, 2010 at 8:11am: The International Day of Peace was made the third Tuesday of September with tremendous work by Ambassador John McDonald, it was then solidified by Jeremy Gilley who put his entire life savings into getting this passed as a resolution by the UN. Just commemorating the extraordinary work and dedication of two individuals who refused to give up.
