PRIMITIVE

Over the last few months I have been amazed by how far Marcus "The Magnificent" Malone has come - Not only is he playing with energy that would tire out drummers 1/3 his age, his inspiration has been contagious - He has elevated the vibe of all the shows I have seen him at and is booking gigs left & right with many of the top rank of Bay Area musicians - He has also paid-it-forward many times since - proving that good deeds ripple outward to benefit the many - Marcus Malone has been an example to us all - showing what can happen when a motivated person is given an opportunity - I'm REALLY looking forward to hearing him play at the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater on `Jerry Day' later this summer...
