SAN FRANSCO 2007 STAND UP TO MAKE POVERTY HISTORY!
On October 17, 2007 people in San Francisco joined 43 million people from around the world to Stand Up and Speak Out against poverty and inequality. Over 43.7 million people, in 127 countries have broken the Guinness World Record - set in 2007 at 23.5 million - for the largest number of people to "STAND UP AGAINST POVERTY AND FOR THE MILLENNIUM DEVELOPMENT GOALS" in a 24 hour period. http://www.standupsanfrancisco.org/
