My meaningless thoughts show me a meaningless world

It is interesting to quote other works when talking about ACIM. Such as "the body is the temple of ..." The same old thoughts are not going to show me something different. However it does not help with the shift in perception that is being offered through the work of ACIM. I only see the past is an important lesson to percieve from to help understand what is being shared. The idea of ACIM is to help us shift our reference from the ego to Love. I am to be vigilant to the thoughts I allow in Mind. There is only One, no matter what it is called. Love is the only Reality. When I ask to see the Real world,what follows is always what Love would have me see. Everytime I ask for direction, I can be sure of of which "voice" is the guideance, because it is obvious it is what Love would do. As stated "Nothing Real can be threatened, Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God." Of course I will always choose happiness over being right. Here is the best explanation I know: "Remember only this; you need not believe the ideas, you need not accept them, and you need not even welcome them. Some of them you may actively resist. None of this will matter, or decrease their efficacy. But do not allow yourself to make exceptions in applying the ideas the workbook contains, and whatever your reactions to the ideas may be, use them. Nothing more than that is required," Love is always the Answer, Forgiveness is the Way.

The Course says the real world isn't like the world we see.

I appreciate what you've written, but I'm not sure of one thing: "When I ask to see the Real world, what follows is always what Love would have me see."

Is that your experience? Do you see only Love? Or, do you still see, as I do, some pain and suffering, even if in a somewhat converted way? I'm pretty sure the course says there is no pain in the real world. It also says there aren't even buildings, so I'm not sure what it means, or what the Real World is.
