Today is one of my days off from work---
And my plan was to try to sleep a bit late.
That plan was rudely interrupted by the sounds of pressure cleaning---

Everyone needs to survive, at the base of survival is commerce, giving and getting the things needed for life. The industrial model of commerce takes a ecological toll and financially puts more into poverty each year; not just in 3rd world countries but also in the 1st world where continued job loss in manufacturing and retail sectors fuel home losses. This is neither peaceful or sustainable. So a peaceful commerce model where cooperation, global access, individual crafts/offerings, and…

A lot of sources are directing our attention to these three days running up through today's full moon to the Eight-Eight-Gate - or Infinity Gateway on August 8th, 2009. Every ning site has its variation & there are many encouraging 'ascended masters' bringing their input: if you have access to ning's Universal Project, a full rendition appears at

In her latest issue of
Cosmic Time, astrologer Allison Rae offers a potent Lammas message for our dawning Aquarian Age; here's an excerpt:

"The stellium of planets in Aquarius is a beacon. This is where to focus in coming years. The unpredictable energies of Uranus teach us to let go, open to the destructive/creative forces of the Universe, and allow love to shine…

We are always "thinking". Even in our sleep, the unconscious mind is sorting, registering, processing, dreaming. There is a constant conversation going on in our mind that we may or may not be aware of. If we put our attention to listening we might notice the repetitive nature of our inner thoughts and the perspectives they support. If we take the effort to observe this conversation, we might be surprised at what we discover about our beliefs. If we take control of this conversation, we will…

Humans created problems in order to sell solutions. How can the problems be resolved when the solutions need to be sold for survival? Also, did I mention there is always “the solution for the solution”? When everyone based on this principle to make money, with the money that you have earned, since when you will be able to enjoy a real solution? When the commercialization of solutions rely on problems to be sustainable, who wants the problems to be eliminated once and for all? Simple fact, but…

The Day of Indigenous and Tribal Peoples
Rene Wadlow*
While both humanization and dehumanization are real alternatives, only the first is man’s vocation. This vocation is constantly negated. It is thewarted by injustice, exploitation, oppression, and the violence of the oppressors; it is affirmed by the yearning of the oppressed for freedom and justice, and by their struggle to recover their lost humanity. Paulo Freire

Time.
Do we control time or does time control us?
Or neither?
A long time ago, maybe about 30 years or so ago, I recall being on a beach out on Long Island.
It was one of those absolutely perfect summer days---
The sky was amazing--- a crisp deep blue---gentle wisps of clouds high up in the sky.
I can still remember how the air felt on my skin, and how "charged" it felt...
The sound of the waves, began to bring about almost a trance-like state, and yet,…

Om Mani Padme Hum The Tibetans wrote these esoteric words on every stone in their land to sing the truth to all of heaven; "Within your heart there is a lotus, and within this lotus there is a diamond." This diamond is the source of Creation. And in all of Creation, there is only One Lotus.

The language of Spirit is silence.
To access the divine all we have to do is know how to be still. This truth resonates deep inside us.

A friend read my blog “ Imperfection” and said , “ it is impossible not to judge.” He felt that this message may make some feel guilty because they don’t live up to those standards of perfection and or wont agree with what was written.
It has never been my purpose to set out to cause another to feel guilty. How people react or respond to what I write can be revealing and healing for them. Either way, if people like the message and find it useful or if they don’t like the message and…

When your fears come up, see this as a good thing. It indicates that a cleansing process is underway.
