Daily Quote By Lynn Fishman

Set The Course For Your Own Identity Evolution.

Take a chance on becoming what you want to be, regardless of what present reality dictates. It is only by taking risks, going forward on faith, and working hard to bring your desire into form that you will create the life that you desire. Keep that desire uppermost in your mind until it eclipses all other situations not in line with it.

Knees

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with a very old friend in Seattle. She and I are both growing older. This seems to happen to all of us unless we die young. :( Naturally the subject of knees came up (being that we are old farts). Laura said, "I think knees were designed on a friday late in the afternoon. They make no sense. They are little sticks held together by rubber bands. Of course they don't last. They aren't meant to." Laura is a very funny lady.

Persistence Is Key

"Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."

2 Oct; Day of Nonviolence

Nonviolent Action: Can There Be A Second Act ?

Rene Wadlow

We are constantly being astonished these days at the amazing discoveries in the field of violence. But I maintain that far more undreamt of and seemingly impossible discoveries will be made in the field of non-violence. M.K. Gandhi

Two October is the UN-designated International Day for Non-violence, the date chosen being the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the best-known figure of non-violent… Continue

The Rightwing Nutjobs spew all of this insanity and The Republican Party still… Continue

Weekly TIdbit: Old Stories

Sometimes we become so attached to the stories we tell ourselves about ourselves that they obstruct our growth and happiness. In the 1960's, the comedy team known as the Smothers Brothers used to do a running joke about "Mom always liked you best". It was funny because we could see how it defined their relationship, and we could laugh at this silly attachment to a belief with a hint of recognition that we had similar patterns, but without having to identify our own ego based… Continue

A FRIEND

Isn't it amazing how much a friend can help and get us further! Just by asking the right questions, saying the things that our souls are longing for. Sometimes all that we need is the someone who would believe in us, in what we're really capable of.

Here's one story:

The good friend of mine, Rein, had tried to call me yesterday. But as I was at work then and I did notice it in the middle of the day today. So I called him back. I had not seen… Continue

My Contributions

You folks seem to have the peace, love, arts, etc well covered. I guess I will have to add a bit of humor by sharing some of the things I see, hear, do and say. Have a little chuckle on me.

The other day I was at the YMCA in the hot tub after my workout. A young lady had her little girl, about 3 or 4 years old, in the pool. The little kid was having the time of her life but she repeatedly emitted a shrill screech that I am certain would rival those crazy crowd control thingys. I… Continue

How To Integrate A New Paradigm

Integrating a new paradigm into an existing one can be a challenge. You may put up emotional resistance or feel confused and unclear about what to do. There is a part of you that is not influenced by limitations, doubt, or separation. The key is to find this part and learn its language. This part of you is already clear about change and can take you out of the fog. Once you open up the channel the conversation will begin and clarity will reveal itself to you.

Day`s Breaking (Lyrics & Music by Stephan Raeder-1989)

Day`s breaking-another night goes sleeping

Day`s breaking-another moon is waning

Day`s breaking-another age is missing

Day`s breaking-another tower`s tumbling down

to the very ground of time and space

Edie, put out the lamp - cold light`s been burning long enough - on our naked skin

Please give me your hand - and let us listen quiet `til the bird of dawn - has finished singing Song of Morn

Draw up the window shade - see there´s a glimmer and a shimmer -… Continue

The Language of an Earth, yet to be~

Everything on this earth, from the stones, to the people, from the animals to the very molecules we breathe have no worth, other than that which "we the people" place upon them~ It is high time to once again in our history as a species redefine that which we label as priceless....for life and love are no longer there~

While it is understood within the company of those that may come to read this, that my above thoughts are completely false and can be proven so by the heart and works… Continue

Quote of the Day 24

"If we really want to live, we must have the courage to recognize that life is ultimately very short, and that everything we do counts." - Elizabeth Kubler-Ross

Give Your Integration TIme......

Faith can be challenged when outer circumstances do not match your growth in inner awareness. This can cause you to question your belief system. It is normal to desire outer verification. However, faith by its very nature, imples that sometimes you need to go forth into the unknown, knowing that all will enfold in divine order. Faith is built on the understanding that it takes time for integration to occur between what is inside us and what is on the outside.

An email I recieved from a client/friend

Hi Chris –

Thought you might enjoy this. Elihu, my now 6 year old son and I lay together in bed occasionally and just talk - in the morning and at night. Yesterday he had an idea. It went something like this: "I have an idea. Love is not matter. It has no mass. So you can't have more or less of it. It just is. Love is IS. And it IS all at the same time. Is is always and everywhere."
So there! wow.

Possible Future for Gaza

Gaza Development Authority: A New Deal Model for the Middle East

Rene Wadlow*

It is difficult to predict the political future of Gaza both in terms of relations between Hamas and Fatah as well as the future relations with Israel and Egypt. What is certain is the Israel-Gaza conflict and the long embargos have crippled and in some cases destroyed the manufacturing and agricultural sectors of the Gaza Strip where some one and a half million people depend on… Continue

Lay The Ground For Broader Opportunities To Occur

From the vastness of your inner self, allow your true desires to come forth, then follow them up with action. As you prepare yourself by taking action, your will be able to grasp opportunity for broader experience when it appears. These opportunities are the synchronicities of life as they appear for you. These synchronicities can appear as individuals or situations that create a common ground from which form is created.
