I love horses! I walked them when I was in college, as a part-time job in Santa Barbara. There is no other creature like them. I saw a mare give the world a foal a long time ago around 3am. Ever seen a grown man cry? No better, kinder or gentler creature, (except the ones that bite) but I love horses!

Three Day Eventing with my most spirited TB (a few years ago :)

I can tell you that horses gave me the strength to be who I am today... I rode and lived horses and developed my natural way through my relationship with my horses... I showed, taught and shaped spirits within the relationships of horses with people.

Soon they will be part of my world once again for my spirit and the spirt of my children and all those who enter my world... in addition to the two books mentioned there is Dancing with Your Dark Horse and It's Not About the Horse. My mother work with Autistics and they respond beautifully to the spirit of the horse. I have seen horses work with gang members and many others to change their world. Energetically horses are pure reflections into our own soul to teach us more than we realize! Thank you for the group and I look forward to sharing the journey with each of you...

For anyone who has not already found these books:
"The Tao of Equus" and "Riding between the Worlds" by Linda Kohanov
are truly transformational, enlightening new perspectives on healing, living authentically and community. Horse teaches us to be more authentic with
our feelings, even when we are unaware of what they are. Peace, Elaine

Here is another Horse painting. This one was inspired by the Bach Flower Essence, "Wild Oat". Seems to be a transformation process of coming into personal power. Why is it that it is usually young girls that have obession with horses. Could it be the power we have that is so often overlooked?
