For the heck of it how about anyone, at anytime, posting a song (whatever format...MPEG, youtube, etc.) on how you feel right now! You can expound with background, history, personal experience, or not. Happy, sad, in between---It's up to you....

I had the honor to meet Mr. Lateef at a UCLA Jazz appreciation class, taught by Kenny Burrell, where he was guest lecture for a couple of weeks in the early '90s. He came across as a very enlightened individual, at peace with self and others. What a blessing...

Thank you for sharing! I'd really like to say something about this video, but I can't explain it. It is one of those, that you directly get the feeling, it goes to your heart but the words just become unnecessary. There is so much wholeness in it that it rather makes me feel like being the music than being the listener of it.

Nice video Silja. What "emotion" would you say they express, to you?

To me, they are communicating an appreciation of nature and peace (even if I can't understand one word! HA!). Also let me know how you embed the youtube stuff on here, it might be useful for others also wanting to do the same.

Embedding, that's so easy! You can just copy-paste the embed code (go to embed, select it, then close once, choose the embed again, now it has turned to blue color, Ctrl + C) when you have selected Add Hyperlink (Ctrl + V). Just like this:)
