Architects of a New Dawn

We’d like to show the side of the world you don’t normally see on television.

These words came out upon discovering this site and listening to some of the media.

I am broken…………………….
I love the jagged edges along my breaks
I love yours too
Here we share a common fate
To heal
Can I help you?
Will You help me?
Alone I will fail and I think you may too
Together we will succeed
I am broken, we are broken, we are all broken, and we love

Hello Lee,

I joined the group so I could comment on your beautifully vivid poem.
Its so raw and vulnerable... it truly feels like a dawn, breaking across the horizon, revealing nature's diversity and balance... and our need to also be such.

Thanx for loving the jagged edges... together we will polish each other's jaggedness till we are so smooth we dance different steps and sing different songs in unison.

Metta,
Jeanne
I like to think of broken as broken open. Open to life, open to receive my lessons, open to accept my good. I love your jagged edges too! Thank you for a lovely poem.

Exactly! I was thinking along this "broken open" idea, but your words are perfect.
Lee,

Wanted you to know that I keep coming back and reading this. As I get clarity on the things that are broken in my life, of late, I find myself going to MJ's song "Man in the Mirror" to look at my problem. I am powerless, so I look for a Power that can as I can't. I find that the people here seem to "get it" when other places don't and probably forever will be in won't. The toxicity of the ex rears its head commonly, but I can never solve her. I can only resolve how to solve me, so that I can be the best for my son. This is another place where I am challenged to look at me, to see those edges and fractures are just the nidus for the healing that is required.

It can and will happen if I stay resolute and with that spiritual Power. Keep sharing and caring.

Again, glad to see you back.

Best,
Mike
Broken as is that can not be rectified, should be thrown away, to be out of your mind
To be able to move on another piece of life , to accept the truth and face what is today
For tomorrow never be like yesterday when there is love inside.
You are welcome, and thank you for letting me know you enjoyed this bit of writing.
