My horoscope for today - I usually don't pay much attention unless they give good advice like this one:
"Forgiveness is about not letting negative feelings spoil your life. If you feel mistreated you can become bitter and angry."
No kiddiing!

"Forgive everyone and that includes forgiving yourself. The problem of people hurting other people has been going on since Adam and Eve. It is especially important that you forgive your parents and anyone with a direct genetic link to you. When you are angry with them, you are actually angry with the body they made for you and you cannot evolve spiritually. Set right all relationships."

Key to Freedom: Forgiveness - dismiss any defensive, judgemental thoughts, resist taking offense.

If the negative thoughts come through anyway repeat the Ho'oponopono prayer. "I am sorry, please forgive me...thank you, I love you." The uplifting results of this prayer along with meditation, and I feel lighter, more loving and more liberated.

Music is looked upon as something serious and holy, designed to purify the feelings of the people. The enthusiasm of the heart expresses itself involuntarily in a burst of song or the rhythmic movement of the body. From immemorial times the inspiring affects that moves all hearts, and draws them together, has mystified mankind.
The ancient kings made music in order to honor merit, and offered it with splendor to the Supreme Deity inviting their ancestors to be present. In the Temple folks drew near to God with music and pantomimes. The Ancestors were invited to these divine rituals as guests of the ruler of heaven and as representatives of humanity in the higher regions. This uniting of the human past with the Divinity in revering his ancestors with solemn moments of spiritual inspiration established the bond between God and man. Our first Earthdance and Theater.

I don't think "forgiveness is the highest form of love", but I think it is an essential starting point.

You are welcome, "dia" means allowing what comes through - not closed beliefs but an open mind allowing different opinions and the "spirit of inquiry" to come through. Arieljoy, you did that without being defensive and being thoughtful of my opinion at the same time. There is no need for forgiveness in dialogue, because we both felt heard and honored in our ideas. Oh yea, I tried "gratitude" today in one of my needs for forgiveness today, and it is starting to feel more comfortable, but I am not there. Maybe it depends on how close you feel to resolution with a particular conflict? for giving gratitude alot, ron

Man-o-man did you ever clear something up for me when you broke down the word "diss-cuss-ion". For as long as I can remember (including childhood) I have been attempting to discuss things with people, i.e. my dad, my mother-in-law, my brother-in-law-the-attorney :-)) and my attempts have been met with arguments. I have never understood why they wouldn't just TALK to me/with me. But all they did was talk OVER me, or on a "good" day, AT me. No wonder I have been so totally confused and I honestly thought I was doing something wrong, like being too "bossy" LOL.

Ron, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

In Love, Light, and Outrageously Boundless Joy,
Arieljoy
