Thank you for sharing your feelings about this photo. I love it too...it brings forth strong memories. It was taken in the backyard/parking of the house I was renting in Koudougou, Burkina Faso in 2007. We were giving a grand party for the girlfriend of one of the drummers. She was returning to Europe the next day, and I guest it was a way of conjuring her back one day. All in all, there were 11 drummers. The temperature was in the high 90s. We had a blast!
