Greetings Pilgrims!

August enters with a series of final confrontations between Planetary powers that have plagued the heavens for over a year... the Grand Square that has been filled out or randomly activated by the movement of the Celestial orbs as they do their heavenly dance. The tension between slow moving Saturn in square to Pluto and opposing Uranus and Jupiter will finally come to resolution under the optimistic influence of Sol's journey through the House of the Lion... to the delight of all!

Influences on July 31st begins the arrival of August with a bolt of energy being delivered to the seat of the Ringed One, Saturn, as the Warrior Mars conjuncts it at 0 degrees of Libra... the chela offers prayers of gratitude to the Universe as this union of elements is at a benign position... the 30th degree of Virgo. Completion! The entry of the potentially malefic unified forces have little or no lasting influence!

The first 4 days of August unfold with a series of conjunctions, oppositions and squares signifying the final passage of the planets toward the resolution of prevailing challenges. Lord Jupiter in Aries will square Vulcan's inferno in Capricorn on the 2nd / 3rd and Mars will challenge the Imperial Court of Jupiter on the 4th... in opposition to the will of Jove; stress from past fears is further released! Doors open and the warmth of Leonine Grace shall prevail!

On August 6th faire Venus brings grace to the Hall of the Scales as she enters Libra, a flirtatious wink at Lord Saturn and Mighty Mars in passage... demurely ignoring opposing Jupiter and Uranus while refusing the squaring attention of Pluto. This is a very personal configuration of forces... the Pilgrim is counseled to attend to personal affairs with worthy diligence for the coming months will reflect the efforts one puts forth during these days of inner alignment. Prayers affirmative in nature and meditation on the moment of one's life will result in transformation and growth. Those who seek outside themselves will miss the experience of “Enlightened Tangency”!

August 10th sees the newing of the faire Damsel of the Night... and as the Sun and Moon conjunct, inner union is complete. The clever chela sees perfection in the heavens and gives an offering of 3 bowls of rice to the Heavenly Court. Humility and reverence brings immediate reward!

On the 13th of August Lord Uranus reenters the House of the Fishes; a cooling breeze arrives from the North and calm spreads across the land.

The Winged One, mercurial ruler of communication and monetary exchange, retreats on the 20th, going retrograde at 19 degrees of Virgo. This activity will have immediate impact and be pervasive for 3 weeks. The House of the Virgin is exacting and will cause the seeker to be extremely attentive to order and detail... those who have made ready will advance with ease! Woe to the slovenly soul, past inequities will return for diligence due!

On August 21st the Ringed One will be exactly in square to Pluto; Vulcan and Cronus resolve all their strife. This is the emergence of the awaited Grace promised by Jove. Release and return, celebration and the dispensing of alms!!! Those who have persevered will find new inner reward... the chela is given a new golden temple bowl!

Mighty Sol, giver of warmth and life, enters the House of the Virgin on the 22nd of August. Harvest Home begins and the bounty of Mother Earth is offered to her progeny. The seeker who has tended Life's Garden will see copious reward.

On August 24th Sol and The Goddess reflect in opposition to each other with the fulling of the Moon in the House of the Fishes... Pisces. This is a full moon that embraces the mystical nature of Neptune in Aquarius and Chiron as well. The Wounded Healer gains illumination as to the nature of suffering and grace is offered to those who seek it. For 3 days before and after this full moon a journal of dreams would bring the Pilgrim closer to that which is sought!

As we see, the month of August has treasure in store for the seeker... rituals of purification and humble appreciation will bring manifest reward. These shifts are the beginning of a new vision for those who have committed to transformation and change!
