What kind of world do you want?

What kind of world do you want?
Will it just happen on it's own?
Or must we ALL be involved?
The song "Closer To The Heart" by the band Rush just about sums it up as far as I'm concerned. Of course it includes all people, I think it's apparent that when they say "men" it was because that flows in the song better than "people" or whatever.
The lyrics go as such...

So, I ask again,
What kind of world do you want?
Will it just happen on it's own?
Or must we ALL be involved?

If we all listen to our hearts
If we all keep Peace, Love, Harmony, Sustainability and Compassion as our guide INSTEAD of arbitrary rules put in place with no focus on the good of all...
Then we have a world that will be safe, we will have a world where people can live up to their potential, we will have a world that can continue to have clean air, clean water and food.
We will have a world where suffering will diminish and joy will grow.
And it's as simple as just stopping and listening to our hearts.
It is THAT simple.
No one needs to teach us that. No one needs to give us a license or permission. No one needs to ask if it's "right"
If it is focused on Peace, Love, Harmony, Sustainability and Compassion it IS right and you and I are supposed to speak it or nurture it or do whatever is part of bringing it to life and letting it spread.  

And the key word there is "letting"...because all of the things that block what we need (Peace, etc) are doing exactly that--blocking-- and even though it is a passive way of blocking, if we do not cast off the chains of arbitrary rules of society which include not going against the grain, not questioning things, leaving things up to "experts", being silent when wrongs are obvious and so forth, then we block what we want and what we need. Seven billion of us on this beautiful rock floating in space. 7,000,000,000 of us and almost all of us want Peace, we want a Safe and Sustainable world. All Mothers want healthy children. So why the problems?

Why?

Silence and following what we have been told is "the way things are" is why.

 Well "the way things are" is not right. And most of the 7,000,000,000 people on the planet know that. So does every tree and animal. So does Mother Earth.

Trust yourself.

Trust yourself.

Trust your heart.
