Music Project

Over a year ago I was given the task, while in an altered state of consciousness, of creating 4 music albums which will be capable of opening a door "back to source". I have built a studio in Costa Rica and am gathering inspiring music from contibutors all over the world. This music is to be a collaboration of souls and will be made available without cost via the internet once finished. Each of the albums (The Awakening, Soul Union, Fusion and Going Home) will have its own unique ambiance and so I'm looking for music which evokes feelings applicable to each of these facets. Good to see you doing this, I am focusing on the same idea for my SoundsLikePeace.org project and you are right that we CAN and WILL make a difference.

If I come up with anything that will possibly fit into your goal I will send it or them your way.

How about we all collaborate on a song? And then hopefully it will fit into your vision, but if not we just send it on out to the world.

What's everyone think of that?

I can start it or anyone can, we just need to make sure to leave room for others to add to it. And there could be two versions or two different songs, one where the mixed song gets added to (that would be the easiest for people without extensive multitracking capabilities and the other could be broken down into separate tracks.

So, let's make a song that may fit into one or more of Jeri's albums or at the very least we end up with a positive, and Peaceful song carrying the combined energy of those that added music to it and those that dream of change shall we?

Jade- I am so sorry I didn't reply sooner- I missed your reply and haven't been back to this site for ages!!! I did visit the World Freedom site and think it is GREAT!!!! One thing I've been thinking of lately is a website where the names of producers of goods who use only humane labor practices, grow chemical, GMO and presticide free foods, produce goods without polluting the planet would be listed so that we could consciously choose to support the good guys. Sort of like voting with our wallets. This way, we have some control over who prospers and who fades. Seeing that we DON'T want anything resembling war or revolution- just quiet but effective evolution, this seems like a decent start. What do you think?

Hey Jeri,

That's great, there should be a way of putting mp3s on here that could be fairly easily downloaded for us to collaborate on, or we could host them elsewhere and link them to here or email them around or something.

If we end up needing them hosted elsewhere I might be able to cover that part, just let me know.

And just wanted to mention that I like Chad's song and video and Blue Jay's project. Everyone keep at it and if you want to see what something of yours would turn out like if we collaborated just post here or drop me a line.

Along the lines of the idea of a place with responsible companies listed you might want to look into some of the groups and posts listed in this search I did on care2.com

Not sure how much info is in all the various posts (or elsewhere on care2) but there should be some good stuff.
