Architects of a New Dawn

We’d like to show the side of the world you don’t normally see on television.

  1. The more we can change the lives of young people the more likely it is that the change we create will spread.  For years I have been working with teens to try and steer them away from alcohol and other drugs.  We have developed a TV series to help them understand how these chemicals pull them away from their real spirit.  http://www.scn.ca/drugclass

Sorry folks, I can't type, the address should be http://www.scn.ca/drugclass not .cs
Pulling them away form drugs and alcohol is one thing - but our youth need something to replace these 'crutches' they need something to show them they are creators of their own reality and give them hope in a troubled world. For many years now I have been sharing leatherwork skills with Juvenile justice, Skids Kids, Group homes, Aboriginal people etc. One Aboriginal youth, showed me the value of these skills, when he replied one day after making something really beautiful with his hands and all by himself - "Wow, I did that I wonder what else I can do" The act of creation and creating is what restores wonder, self esteem, confidence and hope, if you unplug these kids, you need to plug them into something that makes them feel good. Replace one high for a another high - It is called Life! Good Luck Blissings - Morning Star www.animalspiritmedicine.webs.com

Yes, of course, much or our series is about getting connected with something bigger and better, in what ever way suits the individual.
