@bARTosz SOLowiej - thanks for getting the Hawken video up where more people can see how large of a movement we are -- everytime i feel down i watch this and the chills begin to run up and down my spine -- how awesome it is to know what is really happening when the conventional media is not reporting on us.

@Bob Banner - Really great to see you here and help spread the word on the Transition Town Movement -- again not encouraging anyone to leave here, but to get linked into the TTM too so as to get your community linked up to the TTM as it moves around the world. Future Dawning Enterprises still has its virtual learning center, which is composed of about a dozen websites linked together on NING so as to provide for all types of interests and ways to get involved in evolving human consciousness. www.futuredawning.org And then each of these sites is duplicated as a "group" on the Transition US Social Networking site hosted by Les Squires.

It is so great to see all of this coming together in a way that allows everyone to get involved and find a niche for themselves that is comfortable and ways where the communication can flow across different venues as Deborah Boyd suggested we could in her comment to the "Global Problems and the Culture of Capitalism" discussion above.

And, thanks to Eileen, Deborah, Layla and Ron for taking part in this discussion as we look at different systems and try to find what is appropriate for this time. My apologies that i really screwed up my last post there -- trying to do too much in too little time.

Great comment Mary about all the organizations doing the work in the world and how to connect them to the media that highlights the issues. This is the goal of the new transformational media guide I am launching this fall called the AwareGuide (www.awareguide.com) - creating a "TV Guide" for people to know about the media, and a social action platform to connect them with the groups doing the work after being inspired to action through the media.

Hi thanks for setting this up and thanks Mary for getting Paul Hawkens message out there, I mean here. hahhaa. I just wanted to post my two cents. Have been involved with transformative media: radical solutions inspiring hope for 15 years at www.hopedance.org
I have shown films to create discussion and dialogue whether the films were about sustainability, spirituality or what can we do type of discussions.

one reson I signed on here is that individual consciousness seems so paramount. One thing Im doing lately is rather telling people to change or they ought to change and that society needs to change Im offering laughter yoga sessions as a way to cultivate a foundation of JOY to work with any and all sorts of adversity.

While the video on unemployment is depressing, what is happening is a transformational change -- it signifies the end of the Industrial Age and a new beginning entitled the Age of Knowledge.

May i suggest that when you are feeling down and depressed in this time of great change, you watch this video with Paul Hawken telling about the new movement that is happening today.

You will never feel alone again after seeing this and realizing what you are a part of.

The only reason more people do not know about this movement, which began with the Cultural Creatives in 2000, is that the mainstream media does not report on it.

This then is the work for all of us -- we must make ourselves heard and recognized.

May I suggest that if you have a website, you put this video up on it and let the world know who you are and what you are a part of.

The Healing Code by Dr. Alex Loyd, et al. is a very powerful way of healing yourself.
And the research underlying it is based in part on the work of cell biologist Dr. Bruce Lipton.

Here is a video that may help you to understand part of what is going on as quantum physics are used in the form of “energy healing.”

Getting the Healing Code book, I feel is very worthwhile – I have been using it for several weeks now with good results in dealing with stress and really like it because it is so easy. However, I have also changed the wording because as an atheist I do not believe in God. So instead of using the word God in the code when I am saying it, I use the words: “the full power of the Universe as it expresses itself through my heart,” as I feel this is a truer rendition of what is actually happening than attributing the action to a “God” or a divine power.

The “power” as I know it from my research is composed of the “electromagnetic energy field” combined with the field of gravity and the strong and the weak forces which interact with one another. And, I am able to control this power with the power of my own mind which can create subtle energy waves that serve to counteract other subtle energy waves that are expressed as “emotions.” I am the “Body Electric” and am configured much like a quantum computer. I am both a sending and a receiving station which can be “fine tuned” to pick up certain wavelengths much as can a radio or a TV set.

First of all i want to acknowledge Elisabetta for her contribution --we have not connected for quite awhile on the same venue because i have been focusing mainly on other things related to getting Future Dawning Enterprises working and doing some research while at the same time kicking off some local stuff in my own community, so not posting here on AOAND.

I too appreciate everyone's comments and in particular, those of Ed and Marisa and what their responses bring up for me is the subject of "energy healing" as being the wave of the future. And what i have discovered in the past month as i dug deep into a book skimmed previously, but in rereading brought some things together that had not clicked previously is very enlightening. The name of the book is: "Decoding The Human Body Field, by Fraser & Massey. And while i do not as yet have it all together, i want to skim through briefly for it is very important with regard to our future. In reading the work of Joseph Chilton Pearce, mainly: "The Biology of Transcendence: A Blueprint for the Human Spirit," i had encountered the theory of the triune brain and the triune heart; however, in Decoding the Human Body-Field, i have uncovered the theory of a triune nervous system as well. And what is very exciting about this is that the third system is based in a zero point energy field and it appears that ZPE inhabits all of the spaces in the body (and elsewhere throughout the Universe). Now these spaces or vacuums were formerly thought to be empty, but what science is revealing is that these spaces are actually "teeming with energy" and the energy found there is incredibly powerful. But it is this kind of energy that is acting as "thought" waves and transmitting our "thinking" in the form of ideas and concepts throughout the universe because what is known is that once we send out a thought message it continues on forever -- there is no stopping it. So, this is why meditation is so powerful and has the ability to change via "entanglement" the energy patterns of others and to bring about "coherence" where chaos once existed, and vice-versa.

And this is why a new healing modality entitled "The Healing Code" is so miraculous. The Healing Code is explained in a new book with the title "The Healing Code" and written by Alex Loyd, PhD, MD and Brian Johnson, MD, DO, NMD. What the healing code consists of is saying a couple sentences having to do with creating a wave of energy that will counteract and erase "known and unknown negative images, unhealthy beliefs, destructive cellular memories and physical issues" which may be inhibiting the immune system from healing a disease in the human body/mind field. These pictures we hold in our mind are the real "stressors" in the system that prevent us from healing and once these are removed, healing can be accomplished in as little as six minutes -- the time it takes to say the words that create the code. And the words being said are creating the "subtle energy vibrations" that are telling our system what it needs to do. And one of the major testimonial proofs of this is given by Ben Johnson who is now Alex Loyd's partner who healed himself of Lou Gehrig's Disease in less than three months using the code. And, no one previous to this had ever healed from this disease. And, since Dr. Loyd had been researching this for 18 years prior to the time the book was written, which took 10 years, he now has thousands of thousands of testimonials from people who have healed themselves of heart disease, cancer, diabetes and many other ailments, not in six minutes although some things only take that long, but in a relatively short period of time nonetheless.

An when we take this back to what Ed wrote about people not having control over what stresses them, we have now placed a very efficient way of dealing with and ridding out body of stress in the hands of people everywhere if they know about it.

So, what our mission here on Transformative Media and Entertainment is about, among other things, is getting this information out to as many people as possible and in the shortest time possible. We want to unfold the full potential of this information now and in the best interests of all concerned.

I appreciate everyone's comments and wanted to mention a couple of events I've been part of recently that helped affirm for me that a new age is emerging. I was fortunate to travel with Gregg Braden and a group to Peru last month. We had an incredible time learning and even practicing heart-centered meditation. Some of us were already familiar with Heartmath and intention practices so the experiences we had in such an energetically charged environment were life-changing...more vivid dreams and visions during meditations, amazing connectedness and flow in our conversations, a greater sense of our energy body, more vitality and health than we had felt in our everyday lives, etc. Most of what I'm mentioning had so much to do with like minds getting together with the best of intentions for the world and for each other. Some of us in the group promised to keep in touch and to encourage each other on our journey.

I also attended the show PlugIn held in San Jose, California over the past 4 days. It had everything to do with electric energy and the latest electric cars were shown there as well as power stations and other support technology. Even though Silicon Valley lost so many jobs through the tougher economy I was so jazzed to see such a positive group of people there of all ages and cultures learning and seeing how they can help the world shift to newer forms of energy. It doesn't seem to be a coincidence that we will have fully electric cars on the road by the end of the year from major car manufacturers...these are signs that the old system can continue to change especially if we use media to inspire and educate.
