I am never consistent either, Carlo, but that's ok with me because I understand it is in my nature to forget. It's lovely just to try in this life. More than worth the effort.

Belief I see as something to move beyond. I resonate with what OSHO said about it: Belief sets up dichotomy. If you believe in something, then you disbelieve something counter to it. Trusting, presence and knowing/intuiting a truth is what I am pr...

There's so much caring and thought put into the posts here I almost hesitate to add my own comments. "How do you express unconditional love for yourself?" being the topic one thing that's helped a LOT is simply growing older and seeing that indeed...

Music for Mankind: A Lovely Effort

I am honored to serve as Vice President on the board of this project:

Gift of a bowl

(from a recent magazine article)

In a world where disasters and disappointments are inevitable, the best practice is to listen to "a simple call of the heart" that beckons to a world of peace and clarity within, says Maharaji, (Prem Rawat) who has been urging people to follow that call since he was a little boy.

Maharaji said someone in Sri Lanka whose home and goods were swept away by the tsunami a few years back sent him a gift of a bowl.

"A few days before the tsunami actually hit," he sai… Continue

Hippies, Freaks and Inner Journeys

I first heard about the topic of inner peace many years ago and could not have been less interested. I heard people talking about a boy named Maharaji, Prem Rawat, that he could show me how to go within and other, in my view, conceptual ideas. It didn't resonate with me at all… Continue

Life is a gift we have been recieved
The more it can be than we could believe
Once realized and seen
That's all life we can be
And that's the life that it is
Thank you.

Well I am sorry you are so desperate to follow such a con-artist. Everybody is a liar and he is the only one with the truth. Suckers are born every minute.

So how much do you really know about this "Peace Man"
According to the BBB his foundation made a little under $2 million.
50% went to charitable causes and 50% to the foundation in California.
He is worth $100 million and lives like a king in California with his American girl friend he left India for. Now see here is where I have a problem. I look at some of these Eastern gurus that have indeed been here at least since the 60s.
Then I look at people like Desmond Tutu, Bill Gates, and Warren Buffet.
Warren Buffet and Bill Gates exchange being the richest people in the world.
Warren Buffet remained in a comfortable middle class home and donated billions to the gates foundation in order to help people. Bill Gates started a company in his Dad's garage and built it into an empire that has easily helped many people to do things they could not have dreamed of 30 years ago. Bill & Melinda could spend all of their time playing with the Rich & Famous but instead they work night and day with the Gates Foundation to discover medical breakthroughs, etc. In that same time your "guru" has amassed $100 million by putting on a good circus act and pumping out DVDs.

I am one of the founders of this project Architects of a New Dawn... we are creating a new media company to produce film and video content and we will be looking for other content to distribute on our own channel (some day)...

Can you tell me more about your friend and if they will grant us a license for use of any of this footage in our work on Architects of a New Dawn...

Thanks,
