Hi Rick, how is it "worldview transformation" ? is it available online with thousands of hits.. or does it travel from city to city? could I get a dvd with it all and have some bioneers in the area speak afterwards and we can arrange some financial agreement?

Thanks Bob. FYI, the Mushroom event is sponsored by the Whidbey GeoDome Project (I'm the Project Director) which has just installed the EARTH PORTAL Exhibit at the 50th anniversary celebration of the 1962 Seattle World's Fair -- see www.whidbeygeodome.org). Ed and Kate attended a screening of our show on Treasure Island in the Bay Area in April. The GeoDome is a portable immersive visualization environment in which we are telling "new stories." Our goal is worldview transformation, and I'm happy to say that it's working...

If you happen to be in Seattle on May 20, this event features the transformative media of Louie Schwartzberg:

How Mushrooms & Nature's Beauty Can Help Save the World

with Paul Stamets & Louie Schwartzberg

Sunday, May 20 ~ 8:00 p.m.

Intiman Playhouse Studio at the Seattle Center

Tickets: $25
Tickets are available at www.ticketmaster.com and at the door

Join visionary mycologist Paul Stamets and cinematographer extraordinaire Louie Schwartzberg for a wide-ranging exploration of the world changing potential of mushrooms and media.  Paul will discuss his fungus-based ecological and medicinal technologies for radically restoring ecosystems and human health. Drawing from his stunningly beautiful MOVING ART images, Louie will show how nature’s beauty can provide a way to connect with ourselves, each other and the natural world. Louie is currently working on a 3D film about the work of Paul Stamets entitled "Fantastic Fungi... The Forbidden Fruit."

Paul Stamets is a world-renowned mycologist and author of six books including Mycelium Running: How Mushrooms Can Help Save the World and Psilocybin Mushrooms of the World. He is founder and president of Fungi Perfecti, a company which provides medicinal mushroom products and information (www.fungi.com).

Louie Schwartzberg is an award-winning cinematographer whose career spans more than three decades providing breathtaking imagery for feature films, television shows, documentaries and commercials. His short film "Gratitude" featuring Brother David Stendl-Rast is the most popular Tedx presentation of all time (www.movingart.tv).

Hi All!

The project SoundsLikePeace.org is meant to bring people together and share in creating music, art, poetry etc and is branching out to planting trees and is going to head in many directions. It is open to everyone to contribute music, art, links or anything, or to collaborate or join in or to use as an idea for your own project or just to enjoy what's there. Lots of stuff to be added as I can, anyone interested can contact me through there or here on Architects.

Lots of great things and great energy going on, would love to see more and more people active here on AOAND as this is the perfect place for sharing and collaborating and learning.

Peace to All,

Steve

Haha! Jacquelyn!!   AWAKE has been on at 10pm on Thursdays, yet I don't know for how long since it has not been picked up for next season.  I was hoping it would be renewed, but I guess we won't see how they wanted to work that out.

and Ed!!!  I miss you!!  Hope to see you when I come out to L.A. to visit later in the year.  I have caught up with Touch and I do like Tim's work.  Hoping it continues to be popular!!  I actually heard about it when Susan Duval mentioned it on FB, so the word is getting out to the conscious creatives....at least in this area.

I love that show, Touched! I've never heard of Awake. When is that on or is this something that happens when we aren't watching TV?

Hi All! There is a great storytelling workshop in LA this weekend by Patrick Horton.  He teaches how to mine stories from the depths of one's being.  If you are a writer and want to improve your craft I highly recommend Patrick's seminar. It's called:

Mastering the Power of Story:
The Story of Transformation & The Transformation of Story

Go to http://www.thestorycoach.com/ and navigate the the Events tab. -

e

p.s. Hi Susan!  No, I've not seen AWAKE - I've only recently become aware of Tim's work and am surprised at how few "conscious creatives" have even heard of his work...
