Event Description
On August 8, 2011 I will leave Newport Beach, California to ride a bicycle 1600 miles to Omaha, Nebraska. I am seeking a meeting with Warren Buffett to share a philanthropic idea that was endorsed by someone close to him. This idea has the potential to take nonprofits off the treadmill of constant fundraising and make give them sustainable funding. My hope is that it will resonate with Mr. Buffett. The cost of the trip is $3000. Any and all contributions from fellow AOAND members is greatly appreciated. If you are on my route, come and visit or ride along!
