Jim my dear brother, everything you said, what does it mean?   It all sounds so pretty.   I have been hearing things like this for 43 years, a full 365 day a year and everything only keeps getting worse.  And I have personally known 100's of people who say all kinds of pretty sounding things and the only think that I see happen is that this people only get old, shrivel up and die a painful or lonely death and become food for the worms.  What you said has 99.9.9% truths to it but 99.9.9% of the people don't know how to get there.  The process start in the reality of the individual in the here and now.   Peace and love are over rated big time.

Peace of any kind does not exists if in your reality you find no balance.  Love is only the glue that keeps two great thing together for the moment. If if you are lucky you might have one thing but do not know how to get the other thing so you can put them together and feel the passing love.  You know what we need to start out today.   Quarter Havana cigars, nickel beer and free sex.  Now doesn't that sound more real. -:)!!!   God bless and may 'Grandfather' favor all of us.  Tlamatini-vicente.

Vincent and Steve, life is reality. It exists only Here and Now. We can't leave, except in illusion. What matters to us, as individuals, is using our intent to find the peace and love inherent in this moment - the peace of Eternal Awareness, the Love of Constant Energy. Like I said, I have not posted in over a year or two because what I always have to say makes people angry. Here goes.  Steve H my brother I love you, I really do but I have to totally disagree with your reality.  I became a spiritual warrior in 1975.  I have been on a quest or search ever since 24/7 - 365 full time.  The two worse group I have in counter has been the Christians, the Catholics and the Metaphysical people. They mean well but that is it.  They talk the talk but do not walk the walk far enough. We do not create positive anything.  That comes from peoples mind.  Change the way people think and you can change the world. Also there will never be peace anywhere until we have justice.  Work for justice and the results will be peace.  I do agree that pray and meditation is super important but that is only half of it.  Pray without action (follow-up) is useless prayer. The rest of what you said will not happen now.  Capitalism has grown out of control in the people mind.  And God has been replace with how much money we can make.  Now if all you said can be use first to change the way people think that it can  be done.

We all need to create positive art and positive change by first making sure we have Peace in our hearts. Then create, join with others, collaborate, pray, meditate, share, help, support local businesses, grow some of our own food, buy less, reduce, reuse, recycle, plant trees, speak up about anything we disagree with, teach, care, notice beauty and encourage others to do the same.

The project I have to do some of those things is SoundsLikePeace.org and I would love to see more and more people connect especially here on AOAND, this is the perfect internet place to join and spread positive energy and art.

I love Santana as an old friend in my life , that as made beautiful music to go along my living  ' but i am not his fan(meaning fanatic ...i hate fanaticisms ) .

Let's not make Carlos a Messiah ...he's not ,  and i am convinced he doesn't want that .

I join this website when their were less than 50 members.  I wrote/posted some comments about 1/2 dozens time then I stop.  Why? I will tell you. First Carlos is a world icon.  Second we all agree he is the best as an entertainer. Third, we all love him.  Do you know what he represents now. What his message is.  It is not about being an entertainer and getting rich and famous.  It is about our world and our spirituality.  Unless we all change the why we think and stop capitalist as it is today the United States is in its less lap.   The United States and the world will not end anytime soon but it will change to a place we will not like; a dictatorship/police state.   We are really pass the midway point on that. If the 459 members of this group really love Carlos and know what he represents this website we are on now could be part of the vanguard to make this world and our country, the United States a place we would love to keep.    So please stop kissing Carlos 'behind' on how great he is as an entertainer and do what we must by using this website for better use than what is being use now.    Love you guys.  God Bless and may 'Grandfather' be favorable to you and yours.   Tlamatini-vicente
