Well, the uncontrollable flow of thoughts, feelings and action is definitely made of another wood than natural flow of the nature. Yet this world "outside the nature" that we, the humans have collectively been creating for thousands of years already, has changed our lives and thinking to what it is today. The funniest thing for me is to see, how we have collectively learned not to be happy with what we own and have, no matter how much it would be. I do understand the mechanism of how and why it is so, but when living in modern community, it is just so easy to slip into it again and think the thoughts that does not come from the deepest inner nature inside of me. Yet this keeping ourselves busy allows us collectively to go on with this destructive lifestyles just because "everyone else is living the same way". That is not the excuse that would be good enough. When being aware in the daily life, we still can see it the what we do for the people around us, for the animals, for plants, for water, for air, for the whole planet and with our thoughts to the collective consciousness. It is like the most beautiful blessing and the living nightmare at the same time. That is the reason why it is easier to keep ourselves busy rather than to stay aware. It ain't easy to realize all that carelessness and the stupidity of the system that we've been creating collectively. Most of the human energy is just wasted on nothing and that is no fun! But this being busy does not allow to make the individual decisions and to remind what was the life in real hundreds or thousands of years ago. It is like living without the roots, without the memory. What is the point to tell to one who does not even manage to make the elementary living, that human should live like a creator and has the unlimited creative energy within? We still are the creators, but what do we really create? Still, when feeling the deep love for everyone and everything (not trying to tell that everything is being perfect in the way it is - we still need to change our lives and system to more sustainable ways), it is a good starting point. When being able to look deep withing and see everything the way it is. Being able to face and heal the own pain and work for making the life more filled with the real joy. Taking the responsibility to absolutely everything that we see. Healing all the painful experiences from our past, even from the childhood and also in the subconscious levels... And that's still like a starting point to have a life that is for real. But we don't build the castles on the quicksand either, do we? The meditation shows us that's there's much more the life that we know! There is always the love, harmony and freedom inside of ourselves, so how deep can we get. What we really need is to feel it. To feel it fully and completely. Then we've got something to share, the what we can't give away, no matter how much we give.

I love you all for who you are and the way you are! Thank you for everything you've been giving and doing and what you still do. Just because there's so much more we can be, when being together and sharing the love that we are. I'm really sorry for all the times when I've been smaller than that, when hiding behind the masks and leaving things undone. But I'm always been forgiven! Just because we can forgive everything and in deep inside we all love each other. We are all the co-creators, we are unified with everything. There is just us in many, for experiencing that all. The harmony will be restored on the whole planet and that's just the beginning too. Today is the day to be who we are, I love you.

Thank you.

Me - "monkey" for sure, "music' not so sure. I love what Jeanne wrote about this:
The monkey mind and the flow... eh?
IMHO, The monkey is the busy-ness of the mind... and it gets into everything - senses, thoughts, sensations, emotions, feelings... the many ways we elucidate and communicate our states of being... the monkey is there.
The monkey is also there in the flow... it becomes one with the nature of reality, rather than trying to understand, dissect, analyze, or interpret meaning... it loves the flow too. The flow of dhamma is soma to the soul, to the monkey and to everything within vibrational range.
HA! or better HO!

Dear Joan, all of us do - and that is one of the best benefits of meditation!
May you have peace of mind, ron

drmike, does that mean you have more of a Music Mind than a monkey mind (used by Buddhists to mean uncontrollable racing thoughts)? HA! ron

Thanks Ron, but I'm still learning what I'm supposed to do here. Hearing and playing are two different things. HA!

Wow! drmike, I would be spending most of my time in meditation if I heard amazing music like that. Sure there is not a composer in you?
thanks for your inspirational post, ron
