Last night I had this weird dream, regarding my plight....For some reason I feel o.k. to share it here.....Sorry it's kind of morose, but through the darkness comes the light....

Best,
Mike

The Tumbler
Out of my hands sprayed
The crystal tumbler
Smashed to shards
Barefooted I trod
Across it jagged edges
Blood sprouts
Pain, anger, and anguish slayed
It will never be whole
So tired of being told
That out of my soul
I will find another

I LOVE
I LOVE -- I AM -- I'VE ALWAYS BEEN
I LOVE -- I AM -- I'M GONNA BE
I LOVE -- I GROW IN EVERYTHING

Sailing Through the Stars Ron Alexander
Have you ever wondered what a blissful timeless state would feel like? One time in my career as a sailboat captain, I was blessed to experience just that.
I had a destination to our home base – a Marine Science field station in the Bahamas. With only 30 miles to go, there was no hurry. A good thing, as there was a very light wind. Also, there was a flat sea, no moon and clouds, so the stars really appeared to be just overhead. Added to that was a lot of phosphorescence in the water. This was caused by bioluminescence, sea organisms lit by the same chemicals that cause fireflies to glow.
If you look really closely at stars away from city lights, they are many colors – mostly white but also orange, red, yellow, & even blue stars. The bioluminescent also was many different colors. Colorful stars above and below.
Imagine with the sails whispering the wind and the bow barely disturbing the water, it felt like we were flying through the magnificent cosmos.

We Wounded Warriors
In Memory of my Brother Medivac Pilot Barry Died (1968) While Saving Lives
Ron Alexander
we wounded warriors
are veterans
of the battlefield
of the heart
all have been hurt
had hearts broken
several times
many times
for most sensitive
healing hearts
disabled or enabled
transforming brokenness
into openness
breaking hearts
wide open
able to receive
love in &
give love out
from & to
everyOne
an enabled
wide open heart
becomes a healer
of the One Heart

The Artisan By Cindy Combs

'(Lyric for Kim Duffett - Sculptor)

In the beginning there was nothing,
Nothing but a man.
A man with vision,
and two willing working hands.
Answering the call.
Rising to the task,
Making magic is not too much to ask,
In the heart and mind and hands,
of the artisan.

Illusion taking form,
Muddy mix of silt and clay.
A method in the madness,
Making rivers run his way.
Perplexing porportion,
The measure of a man.
A delicate devotion,
In a thick and earthen plan,
In the hands,
of the artisan.

In the hands of the artisan a love of curve and line.
In the hands of the artisan a frozen moment in time.
Forces mingling,
Molten metal brazen starlight right here for us to see.
See the hands? The hands the hands,
of the artisan.

In the beginning nothing but spirit,
Spirit steady and true.
True, to the miraculous motion,
The mingling of the blood and bones and hands and hearts of me and you,
A rendering of the essence of the wonderful way we are made,
Sculpted and caressed by the mysteries,
Sweet mysteries, the mysteries that lay,
In the hands,
The hands.
of the artisan.

Listening is a magnetic and strange thing, a creative force. The friends who listen to us are the ones we move toward. When we are listened to, it creates us, makes us unfold and expand.

~ Earl Nightingale

We must be silent before we can listen.
We must listen before we can learn.
We must learn before we can prepare.
We must prepare before we can serve.
We must serve before we can lead."

~ William Arthur Ward

Just to let you know, I am not one who thinks that I hear directly from God--but I do know he sends His Angels to us in time of need. Like AK--My angels have been with me for many years, Archangels, Michael, Raphael and Gabriel. the only difference is that one of hers is Uriel, and mine is Ariel. Sometimes, I have turned away, and it is the same as turning away from my Higher Power--and everytime I do, seem to get into trouble, so that is why I have learned to stay in what I call the "GOD ZONE." You may have another name for Him. I have many friends who call him Jehovah, Yahwei, Allah, The Great Spirit, and a few others. I think of Him mostly as LOVE. Whenever I am in the zone, I feel His love, His warmth, His calmness--and it helps to calm me. Just a thought.

PS. This is not the poem I was referring to in the first comment that I sent. I have to get it from my computer file.
