Please help! I keep hearing a High frequency sound...

Hi there. I am not sure about how to start, so I will just start with the beginning. When I was little, about 1 year old, I went with my parents to the Black Sea, in Romania. That's where I'm from. One day, my mother decided we should go on a tour of the seaside. It was a bus without a top. Needless to say I got ill. It turned out that I had meningitis.
