Nijole Sparkis's Page

I've been a performer since the age of 4, done a lot of acting and writing, did performance art and spoken word, played in bands for 20 years, toured, taught singing for Disney and the Lee Strasberg Institute, and had my own voice studio called The Vocal Point in LA. I love to sing and write songs -- I've written an album of folk/pop songs with world music instrumentation, Lithuanian background vocals, and spiritual lyrics. I love the influences of the psychedelic era, and I also love collaborating in different styles (I have a background in jazz). Since I was a vocal coach for 14 years, I have now evolved that into life coaching and spiritual teaching. It is my gift, my joy and intention to help people heal emotionally, and support them in becoming all they were born to be in whatever endeavor they choose. In Los Angeles, I've been a member of Agape since 1992, and studied Science of Mind for 2 years with Michael Bernard Beckwith -- I am currently working towards my practitioner's license. In Santa Barbara, I've been on the Core Council of the metaphysical center, Center of the Heart (a mini-Agape), I sometimes facilitate services there, and I've hosted monthly spiritual film nights there. Since July 2009, I am honored to be the Community Manager of ConsciousCreatives.net. I am also currently embarking on being a first-time documentary filmmaker.
