I have been promoting diesel and biodiesel for a few years, so you may be happy to know I am now driving my talk. Yannick who sold it (& kept it like new) to me works for the Beneteau Yacht Factory in Marion. Of course, they put diesels in all of their boats, so he knows diesel, like I do as a retired Captain. And with the coming of Ultralow Sulfur Diesel and biodiesels, these cars… Continue

Realization of Oneness with the Divine - the True Fountain of Youth
In Him, we live, move, and have our being.- Acts 17:28
"It is an interesting fact that, whether we know it and whether or not we like it, our lives are so tied in with God, the living Spirit, that we cannot remain young and enthusiastic unless we know that we are one with that which knows no age and no…

Key to Freedom: Forgiveness - dismiss any defensive, judgemental thoughts, resist taking offense.
If the negative thoughts come through anyway repeat the Ho'oponopono prayer. "I am sorry, please forgive me...thank you, I love you." The uplifting results of this prayer along with meditation, and I feel lighter, more loving and more liberated.

Be still, and the world is bound to turn herself inside out to entertain you. Everywhere you look, joyful noise is clanging to drown out quiet desperation.

WORD FOR THE DAY (gratefulness.org)
Monday, Dec. 28
If there is anything I have learned about men and women,
it is that there is a deeper spirit of altruism than is ever evident.
Just as the rivers we see are minor compared to the underground streams,
so, too, the idealism that is visible is minor compared to what people carry
in their hearts unreleased or scarcely released.
Dr. Albert Schweitzer

Treat everyone you meet as if he or she were going to be dead by midnight.
Extend to them all the care, kindness, and understanding you can muster,
and do so with no thought of reward. Your life will never be the same.

Joy - Infinite & Eternal
Pleasure - short-lasting - ephemeral
Joy - from Being
Pleasure - to escape, numb
Joy is the realization of oneness,
the oneness of our soul with supreme love.
Rabindrath Tagore
For happiness one needs security,
but joy can spring like a flower
even from the cliffs of despair.

WORD FOR THE DAY (gratefulness.org)
Thursday, Dec. 10
The nonviolent approach does
not immediately change the heart
of the oppressor. It first does
something to the hearts and
souls of those committed to it.
It gives them new self-respect;
it calls up resources of strength
and courage they did not know they had.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
