Architects of a New Dawn

We’d like to show the side of the world you don’t normally see on television.

I'm very much a hobby artists and these days I mostly work digital art. This one I produced as a wedding gift for my fella but never quite got around to tidying it up. It's called 'Lost in you'.

This I painted for my very glamorouse sister who has a bit of a thing for Deco. I'm still working on the canvas version.

This one is called Calm. I wanted to play with the confines of the canvas a bit and hoped to create a calming sense of space. It's about as conceptual as I get : )

I love the knees in the foreground of Calm. The Glamorous Sister image reminds me of Tamara Lempica. How's the canvas version coming on?
Cheers : ) Something really tickled about the idea of making a fella feel as though he were looking through a young girls eyes. Have you seen the film Being John Malkavitch? So much fun to be had playing with that concept.

Josie's canvass is comming on very slowly with a few false starts. I've gotten so used to 'edit, undo' and not having to wait for layers to dry but it is lovely to have the kind of control you just can't get with a mouse and to actualy feel the slide of the brush. I'd forgotten how much fun it is.

I got lured away from canvas about a year ago and I've hardly painted since but with my youngest at school now, I can be the one making mess all day : D
