Entertainment + Education + Prosperity = Peace on Earth. The Internet now makes it possible to eliminate artificial barriers. Do you remember the movie Field of Dreams? Avatar was an overwhelming success because just like Star Trek it took all of our human challenges into a future that had answers. As we could not eliminate racial prejudice on Earth we watched folks on distant worlds with two heads having a drink with other folks with 3 eyes. We are all a projection of our desires and our resistance to desires. I see talent all over the World and AOND has all the talent to help them dance, sing, and act their way to a sustainable economy.

Following up on Steph Sutton's earlier post on the BP Oil Spill, here is another one that bears reading:
http://silverbearcafe.com/private/06.10/gassed.html

I read another version of the "spill" last night from Tom Enghedahl who is usually reliable on his posts.

But this ties in with something that i was reading earlier today re: "creating confusion" so that the mass public is so stressed out that we are unable to respond intelligently as we never know what the truth is. Which is why i am more prone to sit back and take a "wait and see" attitude realizing that a lot of this stuff is "deliberately planted propaganda" designed to keep us guessing and off guard so they are in a better position to take control. While i knew things were bad, i never dreamed it would come to this.

However, when i read this article and plug the information into the huge prison population here in the U.S. and the number of those who are incarcerated who are black and Latino, i see a huge correlation between what is going on in the Gulf and the number incarcerated.

Hi Mary and undoubtedly I agree. The lesson of homeopathy is evident with vaccines that introduce a small dose of the toxin to coax the body to self train our immune system how to respond and remain in balance. there is scientific proof now that more people die from cancer treatment than the cancer itself. most forms of cancer become isolated and the treatments introduces irrecoverable trauma. I feel we are nearlng the point of wider acceptance of the mind / body and energy medicine approaches.

There are many approaches to healing that include holistic technological devices such as Rife Technology and Cymatic therapy to name two FDA I approved examples as well very unusal techniques like thymus thumping where we can activate the body's energy centers to do what they do. It's a paradigm shift and challenging for most...

"The answers lay within the source of the problem." That's the most powerful awareness we all eventually discover. Our problems are actually opportunities.... That's the 'Secret". :-)

John, Let me say that I completely agree with you. IMHO, there are no beginnings or endings and it has been due to specialization where the right hand doesn't know what the left had is doing that has led to so many "moral horrors" in the modern world. I have been loosely associated with Dr. Vernon Woolf, www.holodynamics.com, for close to 20 years now and am a product of a program/environment which trains you to look at the "whole dynamic" and track each challenge to its source. And the answer to that challenge always lays within the source of the problem. While particalization may have a role in identifying part of the problem it is always the whole dynamic of any given situation that must be taken into consideration. And would i have limited myself to prison reform itself without including the elements of mental illness, how the money is allocated, and substance abuse, i would never have been able to come up with a solution that works. And one that will be accepted by those in government today simply due to the cost-saving benefits included. And, how i got to prison reform in the first place was by becoming deeply immersed in the study of bipolar disorder having met someone who suffered from the disease and whom i could see was being abused by the system.

I also believe that homeopathy has a role to play in healing. Since none of us are configured exactly alike, then it only stands to reason that no two dis-eases are alike and different modalities of healing are necessary to address the underlying cause(s).

I agree with Mary Rose that much healing can be had by reforming the prison system. I'd be interested in hearing how she thinks mass media might be a tool for transmitting the energy healing that she refers to. Also Mary, you attribute many of our problems to "modernism," however it is difficult to turn the clock back (primitivism?). What suggestions do you have for driving modernism into a more balanced and harmonious direction?

Ed, to answer your questions here -- with regard to demonstrating how energy healing takes place, three of the people i know who have outstanding knowledge in this field are: Bruce Lipton, Patrick Flanagan, and Vernon Woolf. And any of these researchers could set up outstanding demonstrations of energy healing.

However, there is also a new book out: "The Healing Code" written by Alex Loyd, Ph.D., ND and Ben Johnson, MD, DO, NMD that reveals energy healing in a new way in that it directs energy "intended" to heal directly to the immune system using words spoken orally and the fingers held and directed in such a way as to channel the energy right at this system through what may be chakra points or meridians, but i have not as yet had time to check this out.

It has taken over ten years for Dr. Loyd to first discover this and then to package it and get it to market in a way that masses of people can use it by just reading the book and following directions. Dr. Baker joined Dr. Loyd after using this method to heal himself of Lou Gehrig's Disease. And prior to this time there was never a recorded incidence of spontaneous healing of this disease. And, as well, there are thousands of testimonials from those who have healed themselves or been assisted by Dr. Loyd and/or Dr. Baker. And Bruce Lipton has provided the underlying science/biological description as to how this takes place. So, what you would want to do here is to bring these researchers onto a program and interview them along with those who have been healed. And then in a separate portion of the program -- or perhaps in an integrated manner -- have Dr. Lipton do one of the presentations that he is so good at to demonstrate what is happening in the body at the quantum/cellular level that is allowing this miraculously fast healing sequence to take place. Actually what is happening is that as a chaos pattern is being, or has been created in the body, an energy wave is being directed from the heart that has the ability to cancel out the chaos wave that has created the "disease."

And, since this is taking place at the micro level in the area of the connective tissue and the microtubules, an energy shift is happening that can only be explained as "miraculous" or "spontaneous" since it happens so quickly.

With regard to "modernism," Ed, the trick is not to return to "primitivism" but to integrate and balance the systems in such a way as to create health and wholeness. And, Jay Earley presents this so magnificently in his book: "Transforming Human Culture: Social Evolution and the Planetary Crisis." He uses graphic demonstrations throughout to demonstrate how different systems can be brought back into balance.

In his book, Earley also critiques Ken Wilber's work and what it has taken Wilber so many volumes to express, Earley does it in one. And, even though this was designed as a text book for advanced users in universities, I was able to understand it even though it was one of the first books i read directed toward a higher level of consciousness.

One of the things that Bruce Lipton told me initially is to keep the language at the level that an eighth grader can understand because that is the level of the average person in most large audiences. And, although Roger Penrose, for instance, is an often quoted researcher in the field of quantum physics, i do not read his stuff because the scientific jargon he uses is just too difficult to assimilate. And, there are many researchers out there today like Lipton who write for the mass public and become widely recognized. Dr. Candance Pert is another researcher who writes to be understood by the public, as is Gregg Braden. And these people are among those getting top billing on the speaking circuit today.

I like what you write, Carlo and agree that "shame and guilt" are not expressions of love. Love comes through the entrainment of the head brain and the heart brain which create the "holographic" energy field -- a field that is coherent as opposed to chaotic.

IMHO the greatest message we must get across to people today is with regard to "energy" what it is and how to manage it in the most effective manner so we are developing "personal power" to its fullest potential. And how to best understand energy and how to shift it is to understand that everything in the Universe is an energy field and everything is an energy vibration. We humans are energy fields each having our own signatory vibration.

We need to know that energy expresses itself as sound and light. And, we have in the past discussed at length the power of music to heal, We have also discussed the Solfeggio Scale and that 528hz is the sound of life. We need to know that resonating frequencies create form and learn how to use music and other sound vibrations to create form and to change the frequency of an energy field. For instance, the sound of our voice and the words we use have the power to transform and create new energy fields -- and we have the ability to shift energy frequencies in this manner from negative to positive.

As well as electromagnetic and Zero Point Energy fields, gravity and the weak and strong forces, we have chemical energy fields. And we need to understand these chemical energy fields from a nutritional point of view so that we can create body/mind balance.

And much of what we need to know in these fields is not being taught in our institutions of education. So, transformational media needs to step into this vacancy and through entertainment -- which i call "edutainment" begin to get this message across in a way that is fun and will hold the attention of people of all ages. We can no longer confine education to certain grade levels and ages -- it is now a life-long endeavor. One of the reasons being that information is moving so quickly with 75% of all of the information available today having come available in the past 25 years, and as 2000 or so, information was doubling every 1.5 years and i suspect that is moving much faster than that now. So, one of the big questions we are faced with is how to take this information overload and package it in such a way that it is easily assimilated and disseminated just as quickly so that it can be applied around the world in a matter of days, not years as in the past.

And, I feel we all have to become "co-learners" for each of us has something to share -- the idea of the teacher up in front of the classroom directing knowledge to the left side of the brain is passe. And rather than rote and text learning, we need to move more into grahics which grasp both the left and right sides of the brain in order to record "holographic" images that are giving us the "whole big picture" rather than shoveling information out in "particles."

I do not watch TV anymore considering it to be a complete waste of my time. But i am almost always engaged in listening to healing music as i am working on the computer or doing other things. It is extremely important for me to keep my body/mind field in a state of coherence. And I recognize the power of music (among other things) to do this for me. Whereas much of what is shown on TV is being used by the powers that be to create a chaos pattern in my body/mind field and to keep me confused and unable to make coherent decisions.

So, i feel there is a dramatic need for us to understand the power of music to heal and to get it into shopping centers, restaurants, hospitals, office buildings, on subways, trolleys, and other places where people gather in large numbers and their body/mind fields are influenced by these sound waves since it is one of the most powerful ways there is to shift energy.

We can also do the same with light waves using lasers.

If TV programming were such that it was more fun and educational, i might go back to watching it, but i refuse to be the "garbage in, garbage out" can. There is recognition that we also have to cater to different intellectual levels and i do believe that the method of delivery, e.g., whether day or night time serial vs a Larry King show where highly informed people are interviewed is not so important as is content and level of consciousness-raising it does. As conveyed by the title of psychologist Jean Houston's book: "Jump Time" we are being forced by the circumstances of our time to either take the leap or die. But due to forces embedded in the marketplace which keep many people hanging onto their comfort zone, it is going to be difficult to get a lot of people to jump. What my group has figured out is that those who will jump into the future first are those who have nothing left to lose -- the homeless and those who are part of poverty/prison scene-- will move on much more quickly than will the people who inherited the family business from their ancestors.

Before i get out of here i want to comment more on Carlo's remark re: "love." It is fast replacing both "religion" and "spirituality" as a belief system. And in scientific/biological terms it expresses itself as a "neurotransmitter" called oxytocin that is released from both the heart brain and the head brain when two people connect through touch and these two brains become entrained. It is also a monitor of the fetus en utero and acts to ensure that the baby is getting enough nutrition from its mother.

So, all in all, it is my feeling that moving from "entertainment to edutainment" is one of the most important shifts of our time.

Everyone involved and interested in immersive media seems to be driven by holistic and humanitarian objectives Ed. The technology itself embodies the notion of collectivity and unity while many other technologies remain fragmentary, mechanical (Newtonian). Exceptions will stand out like the red flags that they are. I proceed with confidence and enthusiastic support for your work and similar work by others. Public congratulations for your latest conference successes. It's a collective new paradigm in the making.

Hi John! I totally agree that immersive media has greater impact on the senses and consciousness of the viewer. Of course, whether the impact is positive and life-affirming or negative and harmful depends on the content creator - their skills in talking audiences on journeys, their intent, and their own self-evolution/consciousness/world view which will transmit through their work.

The same can be said for all media, of course, to a greater or lesser degree...

Thanks for this, Carlo. I've noticed that some documentaries use a one-two punch, shocking people with some horrible situation then offering solutions or a call to action. I am personally not fond of the former without the latter. Excessive focus on the problems, whether generating fear, disgust, outrage or whatever, without channeling this energy into positive solutions can actually be destructive.

I also think that solutions can be embedded in standard media and entertainment without the entire focus of the production revolving around the topic. A dramatic film set in the future, for instance, can model new technologies and ways of relating that really make people think, even if the film is a "shoot-em-up" drama.

I agree with Mary Rose that much healing can be had by reforming the prison system. I'd be interested in hearing how she thinks mass media might be a tool for transmitting the energy healing that she refers to. Transformative media / Immersive media amps up the impact of experience upon the senses. Getting beyond the visual enhances what we under-stand.

What I meant by the notion of 'sources versus symptom' is the same desperate cry of the innumerable victims of Western medicine and lethal technologies whose symptoms are both created and treated by the same entities! Health symptoms continued to be treated pharmacologically rather than the source of the symptoms being treated homeopathically. It actually requires effort to become sick! The planet is no exception.

Neglect means effort is directed inaccurately or maliciously and as this is apparently intentional for profit, part of the source solution involves the exposure of the people making these choices.

Crisis management is neglectful while preventative maintenance is a lifestyle of nurtured care. Choosing to be immersed is the responsible act that is required now. Immersive media mirrors this powerful principle. I encourage that we become immersed in our own life choices, immersed in the uplifting of others and brave enough to curtail the efforts of those nurturing harm for personal gain..
