Yes, it has finally happened! I've been teasing about writing a book and getting it published for, oh, months and years now. Turns out

"Give love and unconditional acceptance to those you encounter, and notice what happens."

TREASURE HUNT
By Mary Cook, M.A., R.A.S.
Our thoughts, feelings, images and actions determine the quality of our life more than external circumstances. The effort and time we spend trying to change our outward life, would be better spent on monitoring and transforming our inner world. The most effective means to improve our future, is to pay attention to the present moment with appreciation and positive energy.
If we have unhealed chronic…

4) Commit to educate yourself so that you can better handle the situation if it occurs again
Well, our planet is…

My dream is to create ways for the public schools to make money and help their community...I am working with Bruce Hill, head chef of BIX restaurant in San Francisco, and PICCO in Marin County to develop a program whereby the high schools in Acalanes District in Contra Costa Co, create a restaurant which serves great food at a good price. By linking efforts with DVCollege and others, the students will have a place to work, learn about business, perhaps helping Meals on Wheels, and others.…

We are all a work in progress
What is real and what is illision is a matter of preception. To some many things in there life is, "bad". This may be a temporary perception if the person grows and learns becomming a more positive being during the process.
Adversities come up in many peoples lives. Things that make each of us different, unique and at the same time, One. With the common ground that we are each a work in progress, each…

The Goddess of March
Rene Wadlow *
Be ever watchful, wanderer, for the eyes that gaze into yours at the bend of the road may be those of the goddess herself. Oracle at Delphi
March 8 is the International Day of Women and is placed under the sign of the goddess of the month of March — Minerva. Minerva derives her name from the Latin mens (mind), and so she has a special relation to teachers and artists, especially players of a flute. Tradition has it that Minerva is a…

Thank you Jerry, Diane, Carlos and all for Architects Of A New Dawn. I am thrilled to see its creation and implementation. My life's mission has been to teach the values of compassion, kindness and wisdom through the metaphor of success with horses. It is a wonderful mission and I have had the honor to have been mentored by Jerry and Diane for many years. I look forward to being involved in and supporting this wonderful project in any ways I can. Thank you, Franklin Levinson

I have an alternative health practice in Victoria, BC. It started in Ayurveda, but I have branched into other areas. I did this full time for many years, but have recently cut it down to 1/2 time. I would be interested in hearing from anyone else who practices ayurveda, or any other alternative discipline.
As you can see too, from the picture, I surf. Usually in Mexico, near Puerto Vallarta. Canada is a bit too cold.

I'm a delegate to the UN Commission on the Status of Women (3/2 - 3/13/09) - it is heart-wrenching to hear stories of abuse and inequality toward women and children around the world - and it is also inspiring to hear of the courage and committment of women & men around the world to honor all beings. There are so many people, around the world, who are truly being the change they wish to see in the world.
