Those who know me will tell you I'm a firm believer in work. Words are a great tool, but a task has been set before me. Doing the work is what I excel at. If you want to move a mountain get a shovel, and don't be intimidated by the work at hand. I have a dream. If I do nothing I can't bring it to light. Carlos opened a door. We can pass through or not. That's a personal choice. The other choice is to put nothing into the recipe for peace. You will find me an activist. I was given various gifts in the humanities by the Creator. I am responsible to him for what I do with them. I am also responsible to myself. I can't change the anyone. I can only do what I believe is right. I don't wait for others. I do my job.

The Preface for my artwork

In my life I embraced the darkness that I might enjoy the light.
I endured visions of the horrific,
Now, to dream of beauty.
I walked the byways between worlds,
So I could make strides in this one.
I learned nothing is impossible,
Simply improbablel
I moved mountains,
And will do so again.

Brother Douglas thank you for your beautiful words. This website that Carlos put together is a wonderful tool for artists, healers, and everyone who cares to use to do what you share. I have been waiting for about a year. In wanting to get started I made a couple of post and then someone makes negative comments about what I said. Now that ok but no one else came in to express themselves as individuals or on one side or the other. Architects of a New Dawn has 422 members you would figure someone could have share something. How long do you think we should wait. I hope its not till it is to late. Tlamatini-vicente

I've been around enough to enjoy Carlos' music since he first came on the scene. I find it refreshing that he has decided to work toward a global site concerned with looking for solutions for society's ills. What he has done is pull together artists from multiple facets. It is through the arts that bridges are built between cultures. It was told to me that artists carry a spark of the devine, endowed by the Creator. This gives them the ability creation. Believe it or not a lawyer told me this. If artists, healers, scientists, etc... wield this power wisely they can most assuredly change the world, but it is the work that is done that will accomplish the end goal, not just the talk of it. I guess it's time we get to work.

Like I said at the beginning, in the last 4 or 5 years I have belong to many wonderful Metaphysical sites that have self destroyed because people take everything personal. Many a people that have never lifted a finger to help anyone but themselves become real brave in front of the computer. Mr Marquez you have the right to discuss anything your heart desires. And I wish you would. I am not judging you, am to old for that but you send out three small post about what other people - Me and Joe Flewy - and you are making comments on our comments. We are trying to get this wonderful site - The Architects of a New Dawn that Carlos Santana started to go in a direction of really being Architects (us) of A New Dawn (not the same reality, but a new reality ie a New Dawn). Than you come in making off the cuff remarks. Please help me and Joe Flewy start a new and meaningful discussion. Mr. Marquez if everyone with a little intelligent would read all the post would see that I am not demeaning you opinion. Its the other way around by your remarks you are really coming down on me. I said from the very beginning that ever member is equal. You and I are members and we are both equal. You want people to follow the path they have that is great, me too. But what about me. Am a Member of this site and I want something to get started. I have been a member since the very beginning and I am still waiting for something to get started. Do I have to wait another year or two. This site is not to love Santana and his music. He doesn't have that kind of ego. He started this site so all of us can create a new Dawn. What's so hard to understand. This will be the last post between you and me on a personal level. Lets discuss a really subject that can start to create that New Dawn. Tlamatini-vicente

You judge too harshly Vicente,maybe it is a communication problem...and I have been with the program like you say,a whole lot longer than you...you aren't the first person who has attempted to do the things you say you want to do...many people talk,talk and talk,and jump on the bandwagon,but produce nothing more than words,thus not walking their talk...and they think their purpose and aim is something special and different from what persons like myself have been trying to espouse for years...Don't demean my opinion,and think your validity is more meaningful than mine,because there are better ways to utilize your energy...If this spot is truly intended to bring people together than what do yellow pages have to do with artistic people any ways?Maybe you'll get a clue where I am coming from,when you stop judging and let people follow the path they have to follow and why use this site anyways?after all it draws in people who love Santana...so what's the problem?

Richard Marquez what do you mean with 'don't walk their talk' and whose purpose will defeat whose purpose. And who is attacking who. And on the ouch of the Yellow pages for artistic people what with that. Someone is expressing the truth. And what do you mean trying. I am not trying anything. I am using this site for what it was intended. So when are you going to get with the program.
