Yes Aptos is in Santa Cruz and it is about 8 hrs by car or an hour plus by plane from San Diego.

Its gonna be a nice cool one today, we've been getting hammered with the high humidity for the last three days. My son mentioned to me yesterday that the rules for keeping Sungazers in KZN have now changed and that I will now have to apply for a permit. The ruling started this year which I am happy about. Spoke to the relevant authorities and they will come home one of the days to inspect and hopefully grant me a permit. Hey, take care and have a great weekend. Imtiaz :]

What is funny, about the Time Zone-thing, is that yesterday I wondered about it, and was looking at the time zone calculators you can download, and, hmmn, remembered the clock on this (Apple), is a world clock, had never played with it, but put in SA, and it spins to the current time, there! Isn't that funny? Sort of an amazing little thing (an old-fashioned clock face, so it just spins forward or back, depending on what you enter)----- well, anyway, it reminds me (this site), of having pen-pals as a kid, and that something like this (site), is a good use of the internet, just for that reason

What I don't "get", is that "it" doesn't save what you write, but it does save the thread... and that you can write a message 2 ways, or they appear sometimes here, sometimes there, something about it seems odd to me (?), do you know what I mean? Does a blank comment box (from yourself), pop up every where you go? (seems to) But only stays if you write something? (Sorry, more out-of-the-loop ???!!! (smile) but, really, when you press "add comment", an entirely new box pops up... these things must be some santana secret everybody ELSE knows, right? (smile, please) Nike

Well, a good friend of mine asked me (to join this), he's a huge Santana fan, I'm all for any kind of positive good, (er, good will?), so that's how I got here! We agree on all things political, social, etc., musically, too, altho I must admit I'm more from the Taj Mahal/B.B.King, jazz, blues side of things, actually I like many different kinds of music... I was sort of afraid of this ???, I guess that's the bond here, so I'm a little out of the loop, but I do like what I've heard, a lot, don't get me wrong! I had just looked at the video (here), in Mexico, and after you wrote I looked THAT up, funnily enough, it's the same song! So, yes, I like that very much
What time zone are you in? NM is US Mountain time--- 2 hours behind the East coast, and an hour ahead of the West (Calif)
