May 16 Blog

As I prepared myself for today's blog by going for a Fishing day with

some friends of my friend Jim. (James Ashbell Rogers - Nationally

Published Architect from Phoenix, Arizona) One of the fellows was

diagnosed recently with terminal cancer and "the boys" were getting

together for a "tribute" to the life and friendship of Louis - whom I

had just met. I was invited to go for the trip. John (Electrical

Contractor from Phoenix area), Mark (from Michigan, now…

May 14 Blog Peacemaker - problem of CNN regarding OIL flow

Blog today May 14 2010: (trying to figure out how to post it)

First order of business is to write to CNN re their Fred Bloetscher

interview. What a hoax. How is it that I can sit in my little

village hut here in the lazy fishing village of Puerto Penasco,

Mexico, and with a pen and paper (my computer was stolen) (ha!! it

was broken) I would not have left my computer around if it were not.

Such is this little village. As for my note to Fred - How is it that

Homeless with Bike

The Dallas City Council thinks it has a strategy for ending homelessness in the city, and it's fabulously uncomplicated: housing for the homeless. Not shelters, but actual apartments. Next American City reports:

That is an excellent idea Mitch to include the ISO 2600 standards in the Peace Day Global Broadcast event. If you know someone who might be appropriate to help in creating that segment, or can supply permission to use something already created, please let me know.

I am a Peace Activist teacher in the bay area. I have taught Spanish in a traditional settong but also in a language lab. If you really want to learn Spanish on your own from home I recommend Rosetta Stone. I don't work for the company I just used it in the high school where I taught. Even reluctant learners began to gain Spanish skills rapidly. It works. Teresa PS. I also celebrate 9-21-09, 10-2-09 Global Oneness Project vision, 10-25-09 Peace, Love and Compassion at SF Woodstock Peace Concert ( free event and Ecovillage).

Hi Mitch, Nice to hear from you! Thanks for your offer. At this point it would be yoga. Where would I be teaching? I'm not travelling much these days because of my parents. Perhaps at some later point...How are you doing?
Be well, Cathy

Greetings Silas:

I am a world Citizen - born in Canada and blessed by their social welfare system for my life.I owe my living standard to my fellow Canadians and am thankful for being born in Canada. I am now in Puerto Penasco - and may find my way to Hawaii in the future.

Your photos - awesome sunsets and streams - certainly take my mind there in a good way - maybe my body will follow - when time is right.
Thanks

Mitch
